The Summing Up of All Things in Christ

He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. –Ephesians 1:9-10

God and Time Are on My Side

Paul tells us that the price Jesus paid has not only brought the Church into salvation, but Christ's atonement will also redeem all of creation as well. The apostle explains that a unique season would occur at the end of the age. During the last years of this dispensation God would actually begin to gather "all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things upon the earth."

This great gathering together of all things is not so much a singular event as it is a series of divine initiatives. Thus, the word translated "summing up" was an accounting term used by the ancient Greeks. It simply described the sequence of addition used to bring separate items to a singular total. Other translations use the phrase "gathering together" or "gathering into one" all things in Christ. Those who love Him will be consumed by Him in love; those who hate Him will be consumed in judgment. Either way, God will leave nothing but the fullness of Christ permeating the universe.

What is important for us to know now is that we are in that season spoken of by Paul in the Scriptures. Indeed, even now there is an energy, a power, from God that has begun the process of gathering. We see evidences of His power as He gathers Israel to its land and the Church to its unity and destiny. This is a profound truth. The world is being carried forward into a reality that shall ultimately be filled with Christ. Whether it takes five years or fifty years, this is the great "mystery of [God's] will" which shall occur at the end of the age.

To win our war for righteousness we must keep focused on this larger, cosmic perspective of a world consumed in Christ. Yes, the world remains darkened in its fallen state. Yet, every time we pray, "Thy Kingdom come," we are asking for the Holy Spirit to enter us, and then use us to redeem and transform every darkened facet of human existence.

God's Plan to Invade and Transform

We look at the system of the world and believe it is beyond hope. We see the entertainment industry, for example, and believe that God must destroy it to keep it from contaminating the rest of the world. But what if, at this time, it isn't God's plan to destroy the world, but to invade and transform it? What if He wants to sum it up in Christ? We must pray as if a time will come when godly movies will become commonplace, where the world will be ministered to by the Christian morals that reveal Jesus Christ. Imagine a day when the power of the Cross would permeate the entertainment industry so much so that it would be known as "Holywood" instead of Hollywood.

We might look at world governments with the same cynicism and unbelief, but remember God is going to sum up "all things" in Christ. The time is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). So, we must learn to look at the wickedness of the world with the vision of the Kingdom of God. For at some point in time, worldwide, it will be proclaimed with great shouts of joy, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ" (Revelation 11:15c).

God's plan for the end of the age is to invade every single dimension of life and sum all things up in Christ. Whatever refuses to yield to Christ will be destroyed; what yields to Him will be transformed. This is the mystery of God's will. This is the big picture.

When I hear of terrible natural disasters such as we've seen in Japan and other places in recent years or when I watch the turbulent upheavals in the Arab world, I pray as though, somehow, the outcome of what I see is ultimately going to be fulfilled in Christ. When I pray concerning evil in the world, I don't look at the illusion of permanence that appears to protect evil; I look right past it toward the day of God's Kingdom. I see what's wrong, but I'm also saying, God's will is to sum this thing up in Christ. I pray as though God and time are on my side.

Becoming Like Christ

The big picture, the wide-angle view, is that all things shall ultimately be summed up in Christ. Certainly, the Lord will use many mighty ways to fulfill this great plan. However, there is one dimension integral to the process of divine consummation that directly pertains to us. Paul writes, "Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men...He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death" (Philippians 2:5-8).

Paul says, "Have this attitude in you..." What attitude? The attitude Christ demonstrated when He saw mankind's sin and vileness. He didn't destroy evil people. He didn't isolate Himself from mankind's wickedness. He didn't sit in Heaven criticizing man. Christ, who "existed in the form of God," took upon Himself the actual form of man. He completely identified Himself with humanity, even to the point of being found in man's very likeness.

In Christ we see the pattern of how to transform our world: We enter it, take its very form upon ourselves, and by becoming bond-servants (not judges), we give ourselves to whatever it takes to redeem it. To better understand this, substitute the idea that Christ was "being made in the likeness of men" with this: He took upon Himself "the form of need."

So, even though Christ existed in God's form, He knew He couldn't transform the world without taking man's form. As God, He could destroy mankind, but could not redeem mankind. Keep this in mind: You cannot transform anything from the outside. You have to enter the need and take its form to bring redemption.

The Bible clearly and repeatedly states that Jesus is not alone in the mission of redemption. He began alone and set the pattern, but He also is the first born among many brethren. Just as Christ entered us in order to redeem and transform us, so those whom He raises up at the end of the age will do what He did, but on a smaller scale. They will see the need, take its form, and work from the inside to bring redemption.

For example, let's look at the political arena. As Christians, we are so quick to judge politicians and think that the whole system is irreversibly corrupt. Yet, Christ desires that people with His nature enter the system and be a light there. Transformation is an inside job. The Church, however, has taken an outside position to things in need, standing aloof from the world in need of redemption. Our only contribution has been to judge and criticize what is wrong.

When we simply judge something without praying for it or seeking to transform it, we can remain isolated from the nature and pattern of Christ. Not until we have the attitude that was first in Christ, do we begin to truly grow in our Christian experience. We must allow Christ to manifest Himself through us. It is the very area of need that we see and remedy that is the "land of our anointing," where the nature of Christ has opportunity to be unveiled through us.

Everything Will Be Gathered in Christ

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." Here again, God's pattern is to identify with the need, not putting Himself above it, but sacrificing Himself for the redemption of that need. He shoulders the need Himself. This is the nature of the Cross. Christ became "sin on our behalf." He identified with our need so that we could be transformed by His righteousness. Whether it is a school, a neighborhood or place of employment, God desires that we identify with that need and bring light into it.

So the big picture is that everything will be gathered in Christ. The incremental movement within that big picture is measured in each of us seeing the need of the world around us, identifying with people who are trapped in sin, and bringing freedom to them by revealing Christ. After you have identified yourself with the need, you will no longer judge it. As a part of it, you desire its redemption rather than God's wrath. You pray for it like you pray for yourself.

May God deliver us from prayers of judgment and destruction. God's will is not to judge or destroy, but to redeem. He hears our prayers if we pray according to His will. Why then would we pray otherwise? So pray instead, Lord God, raise up people from the inside to transform (my school or our government or the entertainment industry).

We must stop thinking and praying negatively. God is doing something today that is so marvelous and so wonderful that He says: If I told you, you wouldn't believe it. Picture taverns becoming churches. Picture churches working together to see cities changed. This is the mystery of God's will, to see everything summed up in Christ. Let us look at nothing as though it cannot be transformed. Rather, let us remember that in what we desire to see redeemed, eventually all things shall be filled with Christ. God and time are on our side.

Enjoying The Pleasures of God - Divine Consolations

I would like to address the often misunderstood subject of "divine consolations." The early apostles, saints and Christians throughout history enjoyed the ecstasies and manifestations of God's presence, which today we often call by many names: spiritual drunkenness, being slain in the spirit, getting whacked, etc. The biblical word for this experience is "extasis" or "trance" and is found throughout the New Testament, as well as the Old. In history, these manifestations had many names in many great revivals and awakenings: enthusiasms, fits, jerks, exercises, etc. The Christian mystics of the church called these experiences "consolations."

Some of the mystics cautioned against pursuing manifestations inordinately, as they felt it distracted us from God. But this was not always the best theology, to separate these out as gifts from the Gift Giver. Christ is both the Gift and the Giver. He is the Minister of the New Wine and the Wine itself. The most famous mystics did not really practice what they preached, because they spent far more time in ecstasy than the average believer today. Some went into continual ecstasies for five, eight, thirty, even thirty five years straight. Although they were in extreme rest and contemplation ("soaking" or "practicing God's Presence"), they still saw thousands of conversions and countless miracles because of their peacable, trusting, restful enjoyment of God.

Do not feel guilty about enjoying the pleasures of God. There is no law against such things. Christ is both the Gift and the Giver. He is both the Drink and the Minister of the Drink. Religion will let you enjoy Him -- but not too much! Religion wants you to have a moderate, "lukewarm" desire. Never to extreme. Surely not fanatical. It is linear and Greco-Platonistic to separate Love from the feeling of love. We pursue ecstasies only in that they are a state of divine love to be eagerly desired. True contemplation is much deeper than verbal forms of prayer or worship. It is aboutintimacy, which is the foundation of revelation and all other gifts.

When we speak of activating a state of trance, or pursuing rapture, we cannot consider it a formula in the Western, Greek rationalism sense. This is a deeper way. The mind alone cannot traverse these paths, nor is it sufficient to tread where the heart has not first ascended. We do not humanistically climb into a trance state the way a sorcerer or drug addict would do, through their own deviant means. Our entrance is simple: we believe that Christ has already opened the Heavens on the cross! When I believe that I am already in Heaven - seated with Christ (Eph. 2:6), then I also believe that I am also seated in the wine room. I am already in the treasure room of Heaven. I may not feel it. My circumstances may not show this to be true. But when I choose to believe the good news, then my feelings and my circumstances begin to line up with the truth. To the extent we really believe, we can continually experience the ecstasy of His presence and a continual lifestyle of supernatural manifestation. There is never a need to tone it down or pull back. We are resting in His finished work.

Belief and love are heart issues. Religion wants to catch you up in outer forms, but God wants you to be continually consoled in your heart by His love.

The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men” (Is. 29:13). What systematic approaches are powerless to accomplish, yet the blazing lamp of divine love achieves effortlessly, for “the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” (2 Chron. 16:9).

There is no theological explanation. No form. No methodology to the practice of His presence. Its reliance is on the blind fury of faith – it hinges on abiding. It is a relationship.

“This is what the sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: ‘In returning and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. …” (Is. 30:15)

As my inner man learns to be still and know that he is God (Ps. 46:10), I learn His still small voice. I find that I am already in the Secret Place, not because of my prayers, meditations or righteous actions, but because Christ was able to accomplish what I was powerless to perform.

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. (Ex 14:14)

Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. … There remains, then, a rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest. (Heb. 4:1)

Stillness not only enables us to better hear the voice of the Lord. Rest is one of the most productive weapons in spiritual warfare. When the mystics of the church entered into deep rest, the phenomena that came over them - which today we call being "drunk in the Spirit" - was given a theological term called "ligature."

Ligature is ceasing of inward abilities. As ligature sets in, you may not be able to think, read or even speak coherently. You are overmastered and overcome by His love.

Many Christians are trumpeting the urgency of the hour and the demands of more activity to turn the demonic tide in this fallen world. Surely there is an urgency to save souls and be salt and light in our society. But the job is ultimately not ours to accomplished. Jesus finished the work on the cross. He overcame the devil. His work was not just "one step" toward finishing the process. The problem is that most Christians don't fully believe the gospel. They believe their circumstances. When you stand on the truth that the work is finished, that belief begins to manifest in your life, ministry and all around you. Our work is simply to "believe on the one He sent" (John 6). The God of peace will soon crush satan underneath your feet.

Spiritual warfare is fundamental Christianity. You have an enemy that hates you intensely and is relentlessly looking for ways to take you out. But it is in the eye of the storm, in that place of perfect peace and stillness, where it cannot affect you. Jesus slept through a storm. We must learn to practice our peace and throw our anxieties onto the Lord. Anxiety is not a virtue. When the enemy begins to assault us, the first thing we must learn to do is run to the secret place. Go to the place of worship. We are not called to run from battle. But we must learn to stand in the presence of the Lord.

Holy Spirit is not intimidated by chaos. In fact, He thrives on it. That’s the place of His greatest creativity. He hovered over the chaotic face of the deep and created a masterpiece.

Worship and warfare go hand in hand. David was a man after God’s own heart. He was one of the greatest warriors that ever lived, but he was also one of the greatest worshippers. A warring lover. If you become a true worshiper, you will become a true warrior. You will route foreign armies and overturn wicked thrones and dominion. How? Love. Faith. Rest. Trust.

Coming to a place of peace is critical to maintaining our position in God. You don’t have to wring your hands and wonder if you’ll ever become prophetic, move into your destiny or push the enemy out of your affairs. If you simply believe the word and dwell in the Secret Place with God, you will naturally see all these things come to pass. All it takes is falling in love with Him.

God's Road to Revival: Southern California – The Fuse Has Been Lit!

I Saw a Fuse Being Lit

As I watched a video of a series of outreaches in Southern California, I saw a fuse that was burning intensely. A great fire had been kindled and the fuse of historic revival was ignited. I saw a fuse that began to burn in a divine route, and a divine course was strategically positioned and certain cities were in the direct line of fire of this "Road of Revival."

This fuse was rolled into a tight bundle and it was clear where it began: Anaheim, California. A city of over 300,000, it by no means is the largest in this region, but its location is a hub of activity that accommodated people from around the world. Like a Jerusalem in the Bible it is an epicenter – the ebb and tide of millions, and a great fuse of revival is being lit.

As the fuse began to burn brightly and become luminescent, and to my surprise, it went out in two entirely different directions – north and south. It weaved its way into city after city like a scarlet thread of God's grace and power. It burned brilliantly and it illuminated and enlightened people to the knowledge of God everywhere it burned.

A Great Stirring in the Hearts of People

Anaheim was founded in 1857 by wine makers and grape farmers. From this historic hub will now come a great harvest of fruit that will impact and heal the nations of the world. All of its history paled in comparison to the intent that God has now for her future.

I saw trees or righteousness bursting through the fallow ground of old systems and methods and springing on the scene with witty inventions and groundbreaking ideas for outreach, charity and missions. It was certainly a renaissance of revival as the Gospel according to Jesus in Luke 4:18 took center stage:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."

I saw this brightly lit fuse burn into Fullerton, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Santa Ana and a myriad of other cities nearby. The fire of revival – a great stirring in the hearts of people for the things of God – burned in their hearts. It was like one great outreach or crusade as every city was busy with its poor, lost and unreached. The beaches were filled with baptism.

This fuse continued to burn intent to reach its southern border. It collided with Mission Viejo, San Clemente and Oceanside as it burned down the I-5 corridor into San Diego. Everything was burning with a single purpose and focus as churches of all sizes, denominations and backgrounds gathered in the streets, parks, beaches and stadiums in a crescendo of worship and outreach. The sky was red and was lowering as the Spirit of God filled the horizon.

The universities and colleges became "powder kegs" and exploded under the heat of God's fire. It was like something torn out of a history book when great orators and theologians could be heard on the universities such as C.S. Lewis and D.L. Moody – yet now they are young and unorthodox and their approach is radical and fresh. Youth everywhere were preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Book-ends of Revival From California to Asia

The other end of the fuse burned northward through Cypress, Signal Hill, Torrance, Hawthorne, Downey, Maywood into East Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and greater Los Angeles. The streets were on fire! Like a lava flow from an exploding volcano it burned everything in its path. It was bright, brilliant and breathtaking.

This fuse burned and impossible to extinguish as it had been in the past. Los Angeles and San Diego were two great book-ends of revival as it spread like an inferno around the world. Asia was on a direct line of fire as great shafts of fire shot out hitting all of Asia and the East. It was like a firework finale as sparks and streaking light like lightening lit up the foreign horizon with revival from Southern California. Its destiny was intact.

City after city looked like glowing embers of fiery light as I looked down from an aerial view. I saw open graves like Lazarus as ministries that seemed no longer relevant or remembered suddenly rushed on the scene and their first love reignited as they did the first works God had originally imparted to them. Many were bikers, former gang members, rough and ruddy like David in the Bible, but their hearts melted in the hearth of God's fiery love. Everywhere this fire burned as Southern California was consumed with the Fire of God.

The Holy Spirit Oil Gusher

The context of my potentially prophetic observations entail a conversation with a client of mine who has over 40 years experience in the oil business building oil derricks and other major structures for the industry . I asked him why this gusher seems unending in its gushing. As I suspected, he indicated that this may be the largest discover of oil in the history of the USA. That would explain it since most gushers don’t normally gush for weeks.

Please do not think I am implying that God deliberately mucked up His planet to get a prophetic word out, rather I think this is an example of taking the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Seeing through a glass darkly…

This gusher may be a prophetic sign of the Holy Spirit Gusher we are experiencing as the reaper and sower run into each other in the harvest. The parallels are exciting and numerous, so let’s change BP from “British Petroleum” to “Bountiful Providence”. Consider the following:

The volume of oil (Holy Spirit) seems to be a mystery. Just as Jesus had the Holy Spirit without measure, so shall we.
An oil spill of this magnitude has never happened before just as the latter day outpouring will cover the entire earth .
The initiation of the gusher was in contradiction to natural man’s plans.
The oil is coming from a deep place, more than one mile under the surface of the ocean.
The oil is passing through the water to reach the surface symbolic of the Holy Spirit coming through the “water of the Word”.
All of man’s efforts to eliminate the environmental results are being frustrated. You can’t just “mop up” the Holy Spirit deluge.
The oil is flaming on the water surface. Baptized with the Holy Spirit and Fire.
The aftermath will be very expensive. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just, the end time wealth transfer. The world’s loss could be enormous.
A prophetic painting shown Sunday at Glory Mountain was of a golden oil tsunami with fire on the surface and the sand in front of the wave was the same color as the oil in the Gulf.
Oil is our primary natural energy source just as the “oil” of the Holy Spirit is the Believer’s primary Energy
There seems to be no man made device capable of stopping it.
Some “heads are going to roll” in the natural realm. I expect the wealth transfer will involve some career losses from the original holders of the world’s assets.

Concerning This Week's Earthquakes

I was given this word by the Lord Sunday morning April 4, 2010 - Resurrection Sunday.

The Lord prefaced the word with Matthew 27:50-53, with special emphasis on vs. 51 “and the earth did quake and the rocks rent:”

The Lord said, “As when I hung on the cross and cried with a loud voice and gave up my spirit, the veil in the temple was rent in half, the earth shook and the rocks were rent, a great fear came upon the people. But I say to you, if they would have known the plan of God taking place behind these things, they would not have feared but would have rejoiced!

I say to you, I am sending a shaking of the earth again and a renting of the rocks as a sign to my people that I am working behind the scenes releasing a good plan. For when the quake takes place my people shall sense in their spirit that I am up to something good, however, those who do not know me shall fear.

I am shaking California, tearing down spiritual strongholds, and am releasing a spirit of freedom, liberty, fire and power upon my people, signs and wonders, doors of ministry. Religious spirits are coming down, my people that have been held captive are being set free by my strong hand…be encouraged says the Lord, this is a great plan I am unleashing upon my Church.

The quake will be a sign that it has begun”

That afternoon, California started to experience (per the news) 100 earthquakes of a magnitude of 3.0 or higher within a 21 hour period. Even today, another shaking took place.

Overwhelmed - by Circumstances

The story of Cinderella is a poignant one, because many of the key elements in the story can be found in the lives of people God has raised up for His glory and purpose.

Note to all men reading this: Now, before all you gentlemen quit reading because I've mentioned Cinderella, please stick with me and I'll show you a Cinderella-type man in Scripture.

Cinderella was a girl whose mother had died when she was young, but was dearly loved by her wealthy father; she lived well and was favored and loved by him. Truly, her life was blessed and she had everything she needed, but her father didn't think so. He married again to give her a mother and family. But shortly after he remarried, he died.

Her father, I'm sure, had no way of knowing how he would devastate his daughter's life by the decision he made to take a new wife. Suddenly, at her father's death, her life was tragically altered. She not only lost her father, her home and her position in her family, she was also stripped of her own personal identity.

She, herself, had not changed. But, through the actions of her step family, she, who'd once been a loved and favored daughter, now became a servant. She was no longer loved and honored, but rejected and abused—a continual outcast in her own home.

It's one thing to be robbed and cast out, but to have to stay and serve those who robbed you is quite another. To sit and have to watch them enjoying or even mistreating things you once cherished would be extremely difficult. And the longing to feel a part of the family, yet never having that longing fulfilled is like experiencing a continual wounding with no time to heal. It would force you to try anything to get them to love you. Yet, the more you would try, the more they would despise you.

According to some versions of this classic tale, Cinderella attempted to go to a royal ball at the palace with her step-mom and sisters in an old dress of her mother's. Her sisters, being spurred on by their mother, tore her dress to pieces, leaving her in rags. They literally and emotionally stripped her of all she knew and was in life; they left her nothing. She was stunned, emotionally numb, alone and devastated by their actions.

But here's where her story takes a surprising turn. At the moment she'd reached her lowest point, she met her fairy godmother, who begins at once to transform Cinderella's world. The fairy godmother came to her in her moment of despair and showed her love, which is what Cinderella needed the most.

"Cinderella Man"

If you remember the story of Joseph in Genesis 37 and Genesis 39-45, he was a most beloved and favored son of his father, Jacob. His mother died giving birth to his younger brother, but he still had the love of his father, and oh how Jacob loved him. He gave Joseph many privileges and gifts his brothers did not get. Most importantly, he gave Joseph his love (Genesis 37:3). This created heated jealousy in his brothers toward him; they hated him for it, so much so they planned to murder him (Genesis 37:20). Through a twist of fate, instead of murdering him, they sold him as a slave—perhaps a fate worse than death (Genesis 37:21-28).

Joseph spent 13 years as a slave—as someone's property and a prisoner. He was accused of being a degenerate going after his master's wife, when in reality, the opposite was true (Genesis 39:6-20). His life had been stripped from him physically and emotionally. No longer a most beloved, favored son—now owned and wrongfully imprisoned.

If anyone had the right to become angry and bitter, it was Joseph. The Lord had shown him amazing visions and dreams of all he would do in his future (Genesis 37:5-11), yet his life went in the complete opposite direction for years. It could have seemed to him that God had tricked him or lied to him, but Joseph clung to his faith in God (Genesis 39:2-5 and Genesis 39:21-23).

All that was taken from him and done to him turned out to be the preparation for the fulfillment of his dreams. As he said to his brothers, "Don't be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives" (Genesis 45:5). He continued, "So it was God who sent me here, not you!" (Genesis 45:8).

Reflecting over the years Joseph had spent in Egypt, instead of blaming his brothers for all he'd endured, he saw their hateful actions as tools in the Lord's hands to prepare him to rescue millions (Genesis 45:6-7). Joseph's life changed dramatically, went from being the favored son of his father to a lowly slave and prisoner, and then suddenly became second in power over the world he lived in (Genesis 45:8).

Cinderella's transformation was as swift and as telling. From beloved daughter - to - slave - to princess who ruled alongside her husband. They were both stripped of all they knew and held dear, but we see in the end that the ill treatment they endured prepared and equipped them for their great destiny.

Why did God allow Joseph to go through such severe testing you may ask? Well, in Scripture we find examples of those raised to greatness without the preparation, only to fall and lose sight of what really mattered.

King Solomon, son of King David, was the richest, wisest man in history (1 Kings 3:11-14). He inherited his father's kingdom, which was great indeed, and God blessed him with even more (1 Kings 3:11-14). However, he did not have the preparation for the throne that his father had. David went from shepherd (1 Samuel 16:11) - to warrior (1 Samuel 18:5-7) - son-in-law to the king (1 Samuel 18:17-27) - escaped fugitive, running for his life (1 Samuel 19-24) - living in caves (1 Samuel 22:1-2) - pretending to be a madman (1 Samuel 21:13) - having his wives taken from him (1 Samuel 30:1-5) - being despised and rejected (1 Samuel 4-8) and then suddenly to be made king of all Israel (2 Samuel 5:1-5).

We see however, in King Solomon's life, that because he didn't have to endure what his father did, he fell away from God later in his life (1 Kings 11:4-6). "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and yet forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36 NAS). What benefit were Solomon's vast wisdom, riches and fame if it cost him his relationship with God?

Clinging to God's Love

Many of you have been going through a similar stripping process. You are confused and hurt, you may even feel at times abandoned by God. What often hurts the most is the continual betrayal by those who should love you, but don't. It hurts to see the hardness of other's toward you as though you don't matter. At times, you've felt psychologically numb due to the actions of others.

Yet, though you've been stripped, robbed or betrayed you still cling to God, because going through your own personal anguish without Him is even more unthinkable. In the midst of your desperation, you find you still have the one thing that truly matters—you still have God. And, He then, becomes your everything and you feel like the wealthiest person in the world.

Indeed, through all your trials, you are being prepared for your destiny, and it will be great. One day you will look back on this time, like Joseph, and see that God has used it all to prepare you for your future. Knowing your destiny was great, He wanted you to be prepared, so you would not fall when the real test comes: the test of success.

And so He wouldn't lose you in the midst of all the blessings He longs to give you, He needed to make sure your foundation was solidly grounded in Him, that your faith was thoroughly tried.

If you find yourself in similar circumstances, then know: you are truly loved by your heavenly Father, resting in the palm of His hand. Your life belongs to Him and He will see that you are ready for the untold blessings He's kept in readiness for you, anticipating your destiny. You are His beloved and favored child - you belong to Him - His special creation.

Maybe you can see images of your own life in the story of Cinderella, or perhaps Joseph's story is far too familiar to your own. To whatever degree you can relate to him, remember his story changed as he clung to God. Our story, too, takes on a new and rich purpose when we meet with God. He makes all things new, even the painful events of our past. He makes beauty from the ashes of our lives (Isaiah 61:3). So, wherever you are, surrender your ashes to Him and watch Him make something beautiful of your life.

Please pray this with me: Dear Father, I need You. You are all I have, You are everything to me. Comfort me and make something beautiful from my life. I surrender all that I am into Your hands and I ask that You fill me with all of You. Whatever You have for me, I receive with open arms because I know it's from You and I trust You with my life.

Discerning the Angelic Presence

Have you ever seen or felt an angelic presence—or a demonic one? When we "see" or "sense" or "feel" a spiritual entity nearby, we have discerned its presence. This chapter is devoted to the topic of discerning the angelic presence, because it's vital to be able to distinguish spiritual origins and outcomes when you're dealing with supernatural realities. Both good and bad (fallen) angels are spiritual beings, and we need the gift of discerning of spirits when we encounter them.

In general, discernment always involves the evaluation of some kind of evidence. We can only accomplish this by using our five bodily senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, or touch. We notice something; then we start sifting quickly through the incoming data. We discriminate between the pieces of evidence and we detect patterns. Then we decide what to do, based in large part on what our discernment tells us.

Discerning (or distinguishing) of spirits is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 12:10). This gift is a little different from the gift of the word of knowledge, in which facts are simply dropped into our minds or hearts. With discernment, you have to consider what is happening around you. Did what just happened make your skin prickle? Did the room just get brighter or darker? Did you hear a noise? Did you perhaps smell or taste something? Is what happened from a good source—or a bad one?

To discern spiritual realities, we need spiritual perception. We need to know what we're dealing with. Is this thing just my imagination, or is it coming from someone else's human spirit? Is it demonic? Is it in fact an angel? Is it the Holy Spirit?

God doesn't just take the gift of discerning of spirits and plug it into you, fully developed. Normally, it takes a lot of practice to get good at it, and some of your "discernment lessons" will involve making mistakes. That's also true of the learning process for your general discernment, which is part of your maturation as a disciple and which stems from Bible study, experience, and discipline. You will need both kinds of discernment when you find yourself involved with supernatural happenings. It's important for each of us to want to be one of "the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil" (Hebrews 5:14, NASB). Don't forget—you can always ask God to give you more ability to discern spirits and more mature discernment in general.

Discerning Spirits With Your Five Senses

In cooperation with the Word of God, the name and Blood of Jesus, etc., the other primary "discerning equipment" we possess is our Holy-Spirit-anointed human spirits (which can sometimes be called our "sixth sense"), consisting of our five bodily senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, or touch. None of us ends up using all of our senses to the same degree. We tend to "specialize" because of our God-given personalities and types of experiences. At the same time, we need to remember that if we find ourselves in the midst of an unusual spiritual experience, it might be one of our less-used senses that can best contribute to our discernment.

For example, for many people, sight is the biggie. What if, one day, one of these vision-oriented people begins to smell something. That's it, just a smell. Nothing else is happening. It's not a good smell; it's the acrid smell of ammonia. "Ah, a bad smell!" he thinks. "So therefore a bad spirit must be in the room." He scrutinizes the place, but his eyes tell him nothing. He does notice that he doesn't feel bad. On the contrary, he feels fine, merely curious, somewhat "prophetic."

Basically, discernment is perception. Sometimes it is as simple as an inner knowledge, a "gut feeling" that we cannot explain. That kind of spiritual perception is often so subtle that we can easily miss it or dismiss it as a mere hunch. But the more we yield our natural senses to the Lord, the more God can anoint them and make them more sensitive to discern. It's a progressive unfolding.

I Saw...

You see things with your two eyes wide open. You also can see things with your eyes closed, you know—visions are often seen this way. You also see things when you're sleeping—unless you are physically blind, almost 100% of your dreams will be memorable because of their visual content.

It's no wonder that, with so many ways of seeing, we so often rely on our sense of sight when we're discerning supernatural events. Our sight—both external and internal—is one of our most valuable senses. Sometimes it may be no more than a flash of light that brings a strong sense of a spiritual presence into the room. Other times, we may see an outline form or even a kind of fog of God's glory filling a room. We may observe a kind of shimmering presence or, of course, a fully defined vision, perceived in our mind's eye or with our wide-open physical eyes.

The prophet Ezekiel was overwhelmed with visual input. "In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the Heavens were opened and I saw visions of God" (Ezekiel 1:1, NIV). He goes on to describe in detail what he saw in Heaven: a fiery windstorm, four living creatures with four faces each and four wings and four hands, four wheels full of eyes, and much, much more (see Ezekiel 1-3).

Apparently, John the beloved disciple saw with his physical eyes what he received from the angel in his book of Revelation, although, interestingly, he first heard a voice like a trumpet, and...

...then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands; and in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash. His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire.—Revelation 1:12-14, NASB

In other words, John quite naturally looked with his eyes to see what had made the loud sound. And there was plenty to see, including a number of angels:

I saw another strong angel coming down out of Heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire; and he had in his hand a little book which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.—Revelation 10:1-2, NASB

Seeing and hearing are often intertwined, aren't they? Let's look at some Scriptural examples of how people discern spirits through hearing.

I Heard...

Later in the New Testament, we read about how Cornelius, who "clearly saw in a vision an angel of God." Cornelius hadn't expected that. He was jolted even more when the angel spoke his name in a commanding voice, "Cornelius!"

And he said to him, "Your prayers and alms have ascended as a memorial before God. Now dispatch some men to Joppa and send for a man named Simon, who is also called Peter; he is staying with a tanner named Simon, whose house is by the sea."—Acts 10:3-6, NASB

Those were pretty specific directions. Cornelius didn't waste any time. He gathered his men and went to Joppa. No one had to teach him about discerning what he had heard. He knew he had received a message from God.

Even though hearing is one of the most common ways of receiving a heavenly message, it's not limited to hearing spoken words or sentences. People can hear the sound of wind, such as occurred on the day of Pentecost. That happened to Michal Ann and me that time when a supernatural wind came blowing through our closed bedroom window and woke us up to receive angelic visitors.

People hear bells, thunder, a telephone ringing, heavenly music. The variety of options is endless. I know a woman who was awakened from sleep by a small noise, only to overhear a short conversation between two angels, whose illuminated faces she could just make out as they stood next to her bed. "Is she really going to do it?" said one, referring to a very difficult undertaking that the woman was feeling led to initiate the next day. "Yes," said the other. That's all she saw or heard, but that snatch of conversation assured her that she could expect angelic help in the morning.

Keep looking, keep listening, and keep tuning in with all of your other senses to distinguish God's envoys from counterfeit messengers.

I Smelled...

As noted in an earlier example, spiritual discernment can sometimes come through our sense of smell. Many people have testified to sensing the presence of the Lord accompanied by the smell of roses.

At times, it is possible to identify the enemy's presence in the same way. A particular place just may not "smell right," even if we don't quite know why. Sometimes we can identify a rotten-egg odor or other noxious smell. If there is no logical, natural explanation for the unpleasant odor, it may be an indicator that an unclean spirit is present.

I have found that I am able to discern a certain form of addiction in a person's life by using my sense of smell. I can smell a type of smoke that I associate with the addiction, and then I know how to proceed in ministering to the person involved.

The sense of smell is not prominently portrayed in the Bible accounts of discernment, in spite of the fact that we ourselves, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, are described as carrying His "sweet savour" to the world around us:

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph (as trophies of Christ's victory) and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere, for we are the sweet fragrance of Christ unto God, among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.—2 Corinthians 2:14-15, AMP

I Tasted...

What about discerning a spiritual presence through the sense of taste? Have you ever heard someone say, "That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth?"

The prophet Ezekiel (whose extensive experiences could be used to illustrate all five senses in overdrive) was treated to a spiritual tasting incident. Remember the scroll he was told to eat?

"But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you." Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me. In it was a scroll, which He unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe. And He said to me, "Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the house of Israel." So I opened my mouth, and He gave me the scroll to eat. Then He said to me, "Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it." So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.—Ezekiel 2:8–3:3

Another supernatural scroll was consumed by John, who recorded what it tasted like:

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour , but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey." I took the little scroll from the angel's hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.—Revelation 10:9-10, NIV

I Felt...

It's certainly true that we can feel or "sense" spirits, but here I want to refer strictly to physical touch, the kind of feeling that happens through the nerves in your skin. This is the area of sensitivity that is the strongest in my own life. And, yes, angels do touch people to get their attention, to communicate with them, and sometimes to hurt them, if they're bringing God's judgment. Here are a few Scriptural examples, with the "touch words" in italics:

Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is awakened from his sleep.—Zechariah 4:1, NASB

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.—Acts 12:7, NIV

Your sense of touch comes into play when your skin or scalp tingles, and also when you feel pain that is meant to communicate a message to you. At times I receive physical pains in my heart that indicate to me that some kind of heart-wound has occurred in another person's life. These pains alert me to be ready to minister freedom and healing to the other person.

So we see that we can discern spirits (angelic, human, and demonic) by various means, if we are anointed with the Spirit of God. At different times, people see, hear, smell, taste, or feel the touch of another spirit. Our Holy-Spirit-filled spirits are our ultimate sensors, and we can continue to grow and mature in this realm for as long as we live here on earth.

Closing Prayer of Consecration

Holy Spirit, we present to You our eyes (our natural eyes and the eyes of our hearts) and we ask You to anoint them to perceive, to distinguish, to differentiate. We present all of our senses to You and we ask You to keep us on track. Anoint our senses to perceive heavenly realities. Help us to steer clear of counterfeit spiritual experiences. May complete access be given to the Word of the Lord in our lives. We are covered with Jesus' Blood, Amen.

Get on Fire! Supernatural Fire is Falling!

John answered them all, saying, "I baptize you with water, but He who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."—Luke 3:16

As we've enter into 2010, the Lord is emphasizing the fire of His Spirit upon us. We often focus on the Holy Spirit as the Oil of anointing, the refreshing River we drink to quench our spiritual thirst, but we are sensing the Lord wants us to come into a greater revelation of His fire.

Acts 2:2-3 describes the fire that fell at Pentecost, "And suddenly there came from Heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them." Those 120 that were baptized in fire became blazing torches for the Gospel, turning the world upside down. Wherever they went the fire of Pentecost spread, and they were in revival.

God uses the natural to give us a connection point to the supernatural. Just as water is essential for life, the Living water of the Holy Spirit is essential for our spiritual well-being. Fire in the natural, brings light, warmth and power. Where there is the fire of the Holy Spirit, there is empowering, understanding, illumination and revelation. When God gave Moses that amazing, redeeming commission to deliver a nation from bondage, He came through fire: "And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed" (Exodus 3:2). God's fire is a supernatural fire—it purifies, heals, blesses, redeems, empowers, restores and creates.

Everyone who has experienced personal salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit has been ignited with the Fire of the Spirit. The Lord wants us to steward His fire so He can give us more. Abraham was a man who knew God. He walked in revelation and was a man on fire. But he teaches us something important. When God said, "Come worship Me on Mount Moriah," Abraham arose early and prepared to worship. He took the knife, the wood and his son. But he also took the fire with him. The whole action is called worship: "Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you" (Genesis 22:5). Abraham went to Moriah to offer his son, knowing that God who had promised the Son was faithful to provide. But he carried the fire for the sacrifice with him. The Lord revealed Himself to Abraham as Jehovah Jireh. And the Lord will reveal Himself as our Provider again. But we need to bring the fire. Part of our worship is to kindle and fan the flame in our hearts. Catch the fire, and become carriers of His glory.

How Do We Stay Ablaze?

I (Mahesh) remember the Charismatic outpouring of the '60s and '70s. A fire came in California that set ablaze hundreds of thousands of people. It didn't just rest on one group or one denomination. It consumed and burned everywhere it went—Catholics, Lutherans, Episcopalians and Hippies were awakened to the Holy Spirit and filled with the fire and power of Pentecost. It was an amazing time. We were touched and transformed by the fire of God.

I had a friend who ministered with me during those years. He was a worship leader and was passionate about God. His heart burned to see the lost come into the Kingdom. I had not seen him for over thirty years, but on my recent trip to Dallas he was there. He is now 71 years old and is as passionate and on fire as he was back then! No one has put that fire out; it has only increased in his life.

We all need to be like this man. God sets us on fire, but we need to stay ablaze! How do we do this? There are three elements that are essential for fire:

Fuel
Kindling
Oxygen

If any one of these are missing, you don't have fire. What was the fuel of Pentecost? People—the substance that could burn. What was the kindling? It was a company of people in one place hungry for God, harmonizing with each other and Heaven in corporate prayer. What is the oxygen? The sound of the mighty rushing wind! The breath of God. We stay ablaze as we make room for the breath of God in our lives, living in daily communion with the Holy Spirit. When there is not enough oxygen, the fire dies down, but when you fan the flames, it blazes. We fan the flames by gathering with other Believers. Staying plugged into our local church, fellowship, prayer, communing with the Lord in our prayer language and immersing ourselves daily in His Word.

When we are on fire:

Oppression and depression have to flee.
We are consumed with love for Jesus that grows greater and greater and will never cease.
We desire to be transformed and conformed into His image.
We have evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.
It is easy to cooperate with the Lord in prayer, fasting and worship.
We want more!
We ignite others!

Revelation 3:15-16 says, "I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth." God is clear—He is looking for burning men and women. If you are spiritually asleep or lukewarm, let the fire come. Are you hot? Fan the flames more. The more you welcome His fire, the more it drives you to burn brighter and hotter with prayer, thanksgiving and praise. Let us position ourselves in 2010—"Here we are. Set us on fire!" Let the breath of His Spirit blow on us so that we burn brightly.

...Our God is a consuming fire.—Hebrews 12:29

In the realm of the Spirit we see God putting a match to light a revival fire that is going to bring in a harvest of souls. We are not going to see isolated campfires, but a raging wildfire sweep across this nation and the nations. At Pentecost it did not matter their background, their education, their circumstances—it was the fire that made the difference, igniting and empowering a company of Believers to turn the world upside down. We see this pattern repeated again and again, more recently in the Welsh and Azusa revivals.

When God's fire comes, barriers come down, bigotry and racism are burned out, and liberty, joy, holiness and the revelation of Jesus Christ flourish. God pours out His Spirit on everyone who is hungry and thirsty for more. God is telling His Church—Get on fire!

Let us become living torches of revival in this hour!

The Power of Being a Friend Will be Unleashed in 2010

Do you know why internet communication is taking the world by storm? It is bringing friends together—old friends, new friends, future friends. I have met one friend on there I hadn't seen or heard from in twenty years! Some people with whom I thought our relationship had come to an end are now adding me as a friend on their venue. I realize "adding me as their friend" may be through some mistake or through another person's suggestion, but nevertheless I see the hand of God bringing people together.

We were born for relationships, and as the earth is being shaken and men's hearts are failing, I hear the world crying out for "a friend in 2010!" I believe the key that unlocked the hearts of people when Jesus came to earth was Matthew 11:19: "Jesus was a friend of publicans and sinners"—and He still is! I believe just being a friend to someone begins to open the Heavens over that person's life for God to reveal Himself through.

Your Enemy Today Could Very Well Become Your Best Friend in 2010

The first sign of a strained relationship is often a lack of communication through words. We often hear offended people say, "We had words between us." And it's words that can bring a broken relationship back together again. I am reminded of an old song by the Bee Gees: "It's only words, and words are all I have to take your heart away!" In spite of strained relationships, ongoing communication with words will often breakdown walls of division and strife.

God often puts something we need in the person we don't like. Don't count anyone out in your relationships, even the hurtful ones. Your enemy today could very well become your best friend in 2010! In the words of Abraham Lincoln, "The best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend."Proverbs 16:7 says, "When a man's way please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."

On the Internet you get to think before you say something, and that probably gives all of us a friendly edge in communicating. I am sure many family and friends of soldiers at war treasure the words of their loved ones through writing although they don't get to see them. I then realized how we don't literally see God face to face either, but it's His written Word to us in the Bible that draws and reveals His face to us in intimacy.

How important are His words? Psalm 138:2 says "You have magnified Yourword above all Your name." It's through the words of Jesus that we truly get to know Him and what He is like. It's the same with people. If we saw the person's face but they were wordless, we could never get to know who they really are. You can tell who a person is through their words.

Even what seems to be frivolous internet communication, like someone telling us what they are doing right now or thinking about, is building bridges in everyday life. We get to know people in their everyday lives and begin to discover we all are so much alike and have the same needs to be loved and feel needed. I know a few people who, in person, don't say much and they are hard to get to know, but through the Internet their words light up the screen expressing their heart, and I have gotten to know what makes them tick. One person whom I know, who in person is so quiet, has just released a book that she has written. This person is full of creative words of life that reveal her significance.

2010 is the Year You and Your Best Friend Were Born For!

Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."

I would like to share about a true earthly friend that seems to surface once in a life time surpassing all internet and earthly communications. That once in a life time friend who knows all about you and yet loves you no matter what. They discover the worst about you and yet nothing surprises them for you have gotten to know their shortcomings too. That friendship is Heaven sent and reminds us of God-given friendships throughout the Bible, such as Jonathon and David and Ruth and Naomi. They were born for each other's adversity as well as their destiny.

1 Samuel 18:1, "...Jonathan loved David as he loved his own soul." And Ruth said to Naomi in Ruth 1:16-17, "Where you go I will go and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and thy God my God. Where you die, I will die and there will I be buried."

By now, through all of your relationships on earth, a best friend has surely surfaced. If not, I believe a best friend is coming forth to be with you in this coming year to help you through to your victory against impossible odds. And you were born to help your best friend through whatever they may face. 2010 will be a defining year for friendships that will prove "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he doesn't have another to help him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9,10). Perhaps in many of our ministries and lives our greatest need is not for finances but friends. Friends just naturally want to help each other no matter what the need may be.

Even Jesus, on earth, seemed to have a best friend who seemed closer to Him than any of the other disciples. It was John, the "Beloved." He leaned on Jesus' breast at the last supper and showed up at the crucifixion when the rest had forsaken Him. Jesus' love for John had cast out all fear in Him, even the fear of death. Jesus even trusted John with the care of His mother as He was dying.

John had such a relationship with Jesus that he wrote a whole book about Jesus called Revelation. This book is a revelation of Jesus and how we overcome in the midst of a chaotic world. "And they overcame him (the devil) by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death" (Revelation 12:11). It's interesting that John was not afraid of death, and yet he ended up living the longest of all of the disciples. John had the heavenly attitude of "Whatever happens, we win!"

Proverbs 18:24 "A man that has (or who wants) friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

Father, in Jesus' name we thank You that You no longer call us servants but Your friends if we love You and love others (John 15:14, 15). Even when we were lost, You were our best friend who came and found us. Help us to show ourselves friendly to this hostile world. Help us to be God with skin on for those who don't know You. Help us to allow You to love through us that many will find You as their best friend forever in 2010!

God's Global Warming

"For many today would speak of a global warming. I would say that I have a global warming for I am igniting a flame within the hearts of My people throughout the earth. This is an hour that it has been like fire shut up within your bones. But I am coming with a release this hour. No longer will the fire be shut up within your bones, but I am getting ready to release My holy fire in the earth. Watch Me as I bring a global warming in the hearts of My people; as I melt the very coldest of hearts in this season.

"Even a new evangelistic anointing will be upon you. I am going to cause the fire that has been withheld for so long to break forth. Now enter in to a new time when I shall break forth on every side. Watch Me begin to war. Watch Me begin to loose My fire in the most unlikely places. Even in those places where there has been an attempt to silence My voice, I say I'm getting ready to break out. No man, no government will be able to stop My voice in this hour. So know that the warming that I am bringing will be a holy fire and it shall be ignited throughout the earth through My people in this new season."

About five years ago, I had stepped out of our home one evening to spend some time with the Lord. The bigger spiritual context prior to that moment was that I had had about five years of emotional healing in which God spoke to me regularly and radically loved me through His kind words and spiritual love experiences that rocked my world toward wholeness. The Radical love of God was massaged into my battered and bruised past like a healing balm that forever settled any doubts of His enormous love.

The Lord had determined that since I had been healed so much by His Love, that it was time to balance the love of the Lord with the amazing fear of the Lord. This Tsunami experience was so profound in its affects that I subsequently spent several months trying to understand and integrate the fear of the Lord in my life. It propelled me into the scripture and every book I could get my hands on that dealt with the fear of the Lord.

Here’s what happened that life altering evening. Without warning, as I stood on the little patio in the back yard that night I went into a trance or something totally unfamiliar to me. It is very difficult to describe what happened because it was totally new to me and so much in the spirit that words go begging to explain it. All I know is that time ceased. I don’t really know if my spirit man left my body or what state I was in. Nothing like it has happened since. Any awareness of my natural surroundings was absent…like nothing physical existed. I was totally unaware of myself spiritually, mentally or physically. I don’t know if I was still where I was when this started.

All of a sudden I was overwhelmingly aware of The Almighty Presence of God. It was like being engulfed in the Spirit of the fear of the Lord (Isa. 11:2). His presence was so real, so touchable, so thick, and so astoundingly present. This will sound contradictory, but I was saturated with the peaceful, holy, dread of the power of God. It gave me an understanding of John the apostle saying he “was like a dead man”. I was so overwhelmed with the dread and fear of God’s power I knew He could exhale me into oblivion with one slight breath. I was faced with a reality over which I had absolutely no control. I was completely oblivious to everything except for the stunning dread of His power. Simultaneously there was not one ounce of negative fear or concern that I was in danger.

Regretfully, the experience ended, and I slowly reentered the natural world, the night darkness, the cool of the evening. Although my ability to recall things if seriously impaired, that experience is as fresh as yesterday. Actually it was so hyper-real, so impacting, that nothing I have ever experience in life was more real than it was.

It took sometime to reenter the physical world. In hindsight I can express what had happened to my, but at the time I was so stunned that I reentered disoriented. I was shaken to the core and I remember asking the Lord, “Help me understand what happened. Give me a metaphor, a picture, something, anything to help me get my mind around what happened.”

The answer to my request came in the form of a tsunami vision. This was not only for my edification, but it was also a prophetic picture.

So, here’s the vision. I’m standing at the edge of the water on a lovely sunny beach with my eye closed, just enjoying the sun listening to the waves. I opened my eyes to see I was standing in front of a one hundred foot high wall of ocean with my nose touching it. The wall went as far as the eye could see. It was a massive wall of blue green ocean ready to crash on me and drive me into the sand beyond recovery. I knew the pure tonnage of all that water was my preview of death.

Simultaneous I knew the ocean was a massive benevolent force for food and the source of our rain supply vital to our farms.

My greatest fear was realized. I began to see the top of the wall begin to tilt toward me, and sure enough the 100 foot wall came crashing down on me. In that moment, dread and fear engulfed me. Can you believe it, after the wall fell I was left standing and it felt as though my hair had just been gently rinsed.

God, I believe, is saying that the coming tsunami will have elements a la Ananias and Saphira. Phenomena provoking awe and wonder will abound. Simultaneously we will see the tonnage of dramatic healings crashing down on us for us to initiate and enjoy. The latter reign has a benevolent tsunami tucked away in it. Awe, dread, and jubilee joy will be our heartfelt experience.

The Spirit of the Lord says, "There is a new sound that shall arise from this generation. The sound of praise like it has never been heard before. The Tabernacle of David is being restored. The sounds that David brought in Christ are about to visit the earth—a sound that will bring not a visitation, but a habitation of God. A sound that will cause your enemies to flee and to scatter. The sound of praise that is about to arise from My people shall cause the enemies that have overwhelmed you to flee and to scatter a thousand ways.

"Are you ready," says the Lord, "to do as David did? In the presence of his enemies he praised and worshiped. In the presence of his enemies I made a table and set a table before him." God says, "In the presence of your enemies, I'm going to set a table with the finest delicacies. Get ready, for your rejoicing is going to be turned into a greater dimension of praise. Your mourning will be turned to dancing," says the Lord of Hosts.

Prophesied on November 7, 2009 in Detroit, MI:

God says, "On Christmas day something unusual is going to happen. They'll see My glorious one. They'll open up their eyes. Your children will stand upright; no longer fight for the right on Christmas day."

"Christmas Day," hear the prophetic word of the Lord. Somebody wrote to me and said, "You know, I heard you say to somebody in a prophecy that this Christmas is going to be one of the greatest." I believe it, so tonight, to those who are watching us all over the world, we're not speaking about a pagan holiday, we are talking about the celebration of a holy Child, the King of Israel. The wind of the spirit shall blow on this nation and all over the world on Christmas day.

The Spirit of God says, "Hear the prophet tonight. What is about to be revealed in the earth is so much greater than what your forefathers ever experienced. There will be encounters; there will be experiences that have never been encountered before. Do not despise prophesying and say, 'We've heard this before.'

"Yes, there were those that heard it and their ears were deafened, but there were those that did not only listen but they heard, and faith was imparted upon them. The result was that they were able to carry it, and you know what they did? They began to live and the spirit of Caleb came upon them, and young men, who became old men, became older then and they took the mountains."

God said, "Tonight, I want to speak to you about taking My mountain, for there is a mountain that I want to give to you," says the Lord. "It is the highest mountain there is; it is the highest place that you have ever been to, and I am about to bring it to the nation," says the Lord. "Do not say it is impossible, for I've shown you before that it is possible for you to reach that place.

"Therefore, get ready, for what is about to be encountered and experienced is greater than your forefathers have ever experienced before. It's Raining Down Revelation

As I was in prayer concerning the School of Supernatural Ministry that Glory Mountain will be hosting for the San Diego and Riverside regions, the Lord took me into the Spirit. I saw a very strong wind blowing... actually seeing the wind with my eyes. As the wind was blowing, it came over the Riverside and San Diego Region. In the wind were small pieces of paper... thousand and thousands of them. They filled the regions of which the Lord showed me. Then all at once the pieces of paper became very visible to me as I could read each one of them. It was telescopic vision in the Spirit. To my amazement and pleasant surprise, scripture verses were their content! The wind distributed the papers all over the ground as if rain was falling upon the earth. I knew that the Lord was blowing and distributing His revelation to the saints that were hungry for them. People started picking them up off the ground and smiles came, impartation took place and divine revelation was put into the people. It was raining revelation...from Heaven!

The Lord says that the time for impartation is at hand for the hungry! Revelation that will bring hope, guidance, truth and encouragement to the body of Christ. It will awaken the sleeping giant and bring waves of anointing upon her. It will bring just what each person needs to follow through with the anointing and gifting within them! It will awaken destiny and bring release to the body of Christ! Get ready for one of the greatest outpourings that you have ever seen! Get ready, get ready, get ready.

A Financial Declaration

My finances belong to the Lord. I do not live in the mindset of this earthly economic realm. I live in the mindset of Kingdom reality. Therefore, the finances of the Kingdom of Heaven are attracted to me and are mine. They have the desire to show up in this earthly realm. I declare that God has all things in His hands concerning my financial status. I know that if I sow bountifully I will therefore reap bountifully. I sow into good ground and reap a glorious harvest of God's goodness and righteousness in my life.

You have made me to be a blessing and to be a blessings magnet. The blessings look for me. They are attracted to me. They come upon me and overtake me. When I am shopping God will allow me to find the best deal because I am walking in His favor and anointing. God will create sales for me with the exact item that I need to purchase. I will receive discounts and even unexpected blessings as the Lord wills.

My financial advisor is the Lord. He will instruct and lead me in all areas of investments. I declare that any current investments will increase and grow. I will not experience any setbacks, but will see increase in the name of the Lord! I will see and speak increase in all areas of my life. I will not doubt, lose faith or experience depression in any area of my life, especially with finances. I only speak life to my financial status!

I declare blessing upon my checking account, savings account, CD's, interest bearing accounts, IRA and other retirement accounts. I declare that my house will be paid off, my car will be paid off, and any outstanding debts I have will be paid off in the name of the Lord. I declare increase in my weekly, bi-monthly or monthly paycheck! I declare increase on my commission checks and any other income that I may receive on a monthly basis.

I declare that poverty and lack will not come near me or touch me. I will have the mindset of abundance and hope. I will be thankful for every bit of finances that come my way knowing that it is part of the increase that is coming. I will honor the Lord with my tithe and offerings and live with continued open heavens over my life. I will have the lifestyle of expectancy and faith at all times. I thank the Lord for all that I have and all that will come my way. I am a Kingdom-minded child of God and I know that He is my Father and will take care of me all of my life!

Listening Prayer: Learn to Hear His Voice

Having a Listening Prayer Experience:
Laying the Foundation

The primary verse and emphasis I want to use is Proverbs 8:32-36: "Now therefore, O sons, listen to Me, for blessed are they who keep My ways. Heed instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it. Blessed is the man who listens to Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at My doorposts. For he who finds Me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD. But he who sins against Me injures himself; all those who hate Me love death."

There are three key words which are in the passive, continuous tense:

1. listen
2. watching
3. waiting

The promise is in verse 35:

1. "When you find Me you find life!"
2. "You will obtain favor from the Lord."

But how do you find Him?

Two Listening Prayer Experiences From the Life of Joshua

First, in Exodus 17:8-13, Aaron and Hur held up the hands of Moses, and as they did, Joshua would win the battle in the field. (This shows the life of the warrior is tied to the power of intercession and praise, i.e. uplifted hands and arms).

Second, in Exodus 33:7-11, while all the other people would return to their own tents and carry out their own "business as usual," young Joshua would wait at the entrance of the tent of meeting. He would be the first to see the reflection of God's glory and Moses' face. This positioning of ourselves at the feet of Jesus—this listening, waiting and watching—will do this for us as well. We will see the face of Jesus and the radiance of God's light shall shine upon us.

A Listening Prayer Experience From the Life of David

Psalm 84:1-12, especially Psalm 84:10, shows an example of a listening prayer experience from the life of David:

"For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of My God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness. (I would rather be a doorkeeper.)"

David knew the art of waiting at the threshold of the door of the house of God. This is the art of listening, waiting and watching.

The Lost Art of Listening

The primary verse I want to focus on now is Isaiah 50:4,5:"The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens me morning by morning. He awakens my ear to listen as a disciple. The Lord God has opened by ear; and I was not disobedient, nor did I turn back."

Pray these verses over your own life. Ask that you be given a listening ear. But please note that we do not each "hear" in the same manner. (See my book The Beginner's Guide to Hearing God for details on that subject.)

Mark 9:1-8—The Transfiguration

"Then a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, 'This is My beloved Son, listen to Him!' And all at once they looked around and saw no one with them any more, except Jesus alone."—Mark 9:7, 8

1. These Scriptures depict the jealousy of the Father for His Son. It demonstrates His great longing to speak to us.

2. They saw no one any more, except Jesus. In order to hear God, we must learn to deal with distraction. The key is to be so focused on Him that everything else fades in the background.

3. They could have gotten caught up in lengthy discussions of the past or present moves of God (Moses—the Law; and Elijah—the prophets). But the Father directed their eyes to see Jesus only.

4. We need a revelation of His loveliness. This is a higher path than just resisting evil. When we will see and know His love, then we will stop and listen.

Luke 19:45-48—Listening In The Temple

"And they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said."—Luke 19:48

May a corporate people in our day emerge who will press in daily and listen to His every word. A promise of protection awaits such a people.

Obstacles to Hearing God's Voice

There are at least seven reasons why Christians today do not hear from God on a regular (even daily) basis. They are:

1. Lack of faith to believe that hearing from God is for today.

2. Lack of a commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord of their life.

3. The presence of unconfessed sin and a "double-standard" lifestyle.

4. Ignorance of the Scriptural evidence of the Believer's privilege to hear from God personally.

5. Lack of teaching on how to pursue such a listening prayer experience.

6. Fear of being called a "religious fanatic" or "off balanced."

7. Fear of being open to the "wrong spirits" or being led astray by the enemy.

Assurance That God is Speaking

If you can respond to the following statements affirmatively, then rest assured that God is speaking to you:

1. What I heard helps me to respect (fear) the Lord and to depart from evil (Job 28:28).

2. The message increases my faith in or my knowledge and understanding of Scripture (Proverbs 4:7).

3. The actions that will result from following this will be full of spiritual fruits: purity, peace, gentleness, mercy, courtesy, good deeds, sincerity, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17).

4. What I heard strengthens me "with all might" so that I can keep going no matter what happens (Colossians 1:11).

5. It causes me to experience joyfulness and thanksgiving to the Father (Colossians 1:12).

Let Us Practice!

Let us learn the lessons of the ongoing activity of listening, waiting and watching. This week in our Global PrayerStorm efforts, let's commit ourselves to these skills so that we willtruly find Him and obtain favor from the Lord. Let us be alert and learn the lost arts of communion with our Master through our Listening Prayer Experience.

Father, in Jesus' name, I bring these lovely Believers to you this week. I am asking that you open their ears to hear like disciples. I am asking that, "You speak Lord, Your servants are listening." May sweet communion with You be their joy this week, and may Your voice be heard and acted upon for Your holy name's sake! Amen and Amen!

How to Pray for President Obama

Father, according to Timothy 2, Paul exhorted that "supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority that we may lead a quiet peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior". In obedience to Your Word, we join together this day, January 20 2009, with our GOD TV family all across the United States of America and join in one heart and one mind in prayer and intercession for our new incoming President Barack Obama. Father we ask this day that as Barack Obama is inaugurated here in Washington DC, that You would look down from Heaven and in Your great mercies upon America look down this day upon President Barack Obama and grant him exceeding wisdom in these crucial days ahead facing him and the new administration. Oh mighty Father we pray as a united body to You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that You may grant to Barack Obama the spirit of wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of Yourself this day. That the eyes of President Obama's understanding be enlightened that he may know what is the hope of his calling and the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power to us-ward who believe and to himself, according to the working of Your mighty power which you wrought in Christ, when You raised Him from the dead.

Father we pray that the overshadowing fear of the Lord would start to rest upon this new administration. We pray for Your sovereign hand to guide the President and those in his cabinet. We release YOUR purposes, we release YOUR plan, we release YOUR strategies and YOUR wisdom, we release YOUR governance. We pray for visitation in the President's night hours and revelation in his waking hours, that as he enters the pressures and the challenges of office in 2009 that he would be driven to trust in You as his mighty fortress, that he would find refuge and wisdom under Your wings, that he would seek Your face before he seeks man's wisdom and Father, that You would pour out word after word in season upon him from on high.

Father, we thank you that even as Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson ruled in generations before Barack Obama, that You have placed upon President Barack Obama's shoulders a mantle to root out and tear up wickedness, thank you Father, that by Your sovereign mighty hand, You would imbue him with zealousness and righteousness to rout out evil men and sinister schemes. Grant President Barack Obama the courage to rule with justice and the wisdom to rule under God. And Father, as the body of Christ that we commit to You to lift him up faithfully and fervently. That we may consistently petition Heaven on Barack Obama's behalf and petition President Barack Obama on YOUR behalf. Father, we also ask that You minister to him in the night hours regarding the issue of abortion that he may know Your heart and Your mind on these issues so important to Heaven. And finally we ask divine protection and blessing over his family and upon his physical life. Preserve his life from being cut off prematurely, Father preserve him from sinister schemes and the schemes of wicked men. Thank you that as President of the United States he will run the course that is laid out for him in this time and this season.

Land of Anointing

There is a land for each individual—a strategic place where the anointing of the Lord in the life of the individual rings more true, is more connected, finds greatest expression and apart from which, does not flourish to its maximum. This is why Abraham kept moving.

Our sensitivity to discern the land of our anointing is fine-tuned with time, much in the same way it was with Abraham. Some are in the right field but the wrong department. For some the region is correct but not the community, or part of town. And for others, borders of the familiar corral destiny—for these reluctant souls, nothing short of dynamite will move them to the placement the Lord has for them!

A correct worldview can change that. Our call to a correct worldview, and therefore into the mainstream is apparent. It is time to go there; it is time to go to the place He tells you. No matter the success experienced elsewhere, success in the appointed place is greater: Now the Lord had said to Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house. Unto a land that I will show thee. (Genesis 12:1)

So saying, you are heard by Heaven. Heaven responds to you. Your tears are bottled up and kept forever. Your case is before Him. He is listening, and He is acting on your behalf. Don’t forget this, and don’t doubt, because doubting is a waste of your God-given time.

When we pray, whether we sense it or not, there are reactions in the spirit realm. In the same way, when we declare God’s truths over ourselves, they stick. They change the atmosphere. They change us. We are no longer the same, whether or not we’re aware of it.

I pray declarative prayers often. They get me out of my self-pity, anxiety, confusion and self-doubt. They change my mindset and reorient my thinking.

The prayer below is a wonderful prayer for this season, Be encouraged in this season, for the Warrior is with you, and He is mighty to save.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His authority, I cut off every curse that has been spoken against me to try to stop me from walking into God’s purpose for my life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in His authority, I cut off all bloodline and spiritual curses that any person or persons may have placed upon me, whether by their actions or by any form of verbal declaration at all, whatsoever.

Through the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pronounce that, in His name, all these things are null and void as of this moment. Nothing that is against His purpose for me shall flourish. Nothing, in the name of Jesus, that is anti what He has created me to become will flourish from this moment on. And therefore, in His name, I declare that:

my family will prosper,

my children will prosper,

my finances will prosper,

my authority will prosper,

my favor will prosper,

my influence will prosper,

my understanding of Scripture will prosper,

my wisdom will prosper,

my discernment and discretion will prosper.

The power of the Living God will flow in greater measure through me, unencumbered. It will increasingly become more unencumbered and flow at greater rates, greater speeds, to change people’s lives and advance the glorious Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ within me.

I declare that God has determined the pre-appointed time for my life, the exact place that I would dwell, the exact time that I would be born, the exact location for my anointing. He has placed me where I am in order for me to touch and change that area, and that the enemy — the powers of darkness — would be broken because of the power of the Living God upon my shoulders.

He has done this, so that I would grope for Him, and that I would seek Him, and that in hope I might find Him, for in Him I live and move and have my being. As Paul wrote, “We are all His offspring,” and therefore I declare that I am flesh of His flesh in the Kingdom of the glorious Lord Jesus Christ. I am bone of His bone. I was born for such a time as this. No matter what has happened in the past, or what has been happening in the present, I will walk in victory, and I will see the goodness of God in the land of the living! In Jesus’ name, amen.

Thanksgiving Proclamation

The year that is drawing toward its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added which are of so extraordinary a nature that they can not fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever-watchful providence of Almighty God.

In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign states to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere, except in the theater of military conflict, while that theater has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.

Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defense have not arrested the plow, the shuttle, or the ship; the ax has enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well as the iron and coal as of our precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege, and the battlefield, and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.

No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.

It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledged, as with one heart and one voice, by the whole American people. As gay protests to the passage of Proposition 8 take place in cities across the nation today, it is important that we know the facts. How do we respond truthfully to the statements that are being made?

"I have the right to marry the one I love!"

If that is the case, then shouldn’t Patrick and Susan S. be allowed to marry in Germany? He was adopted as a child and didn’t know he had a sister until she was 16 and he was 23. He has served a prison sentence because of his love for his sister. They have had four children together and do not want to be separated. Why should the government intervene? Patrick says, “We are like normal lovers. We want to have a family.” Susan states, “I just want to live with my family, and be left alone by the authorities and by the courts.” Their attorney argues that the law against a brother and sister marrying “is out of date and it breaches the couple’s civil rights.” Does this sound familiar? If gays should have the “civil right” to marry the ones they love, why not a blood brother and sister, separated as children and reunited later in life?

"It is an outright lie to claim that legalizing same-sex marriages will affect what children are taught in the schools."

U.S. District Court Judge Mark L. Wolf ruled against the Parkers and Wirthlins who had requested that their children be removed from elementary school classes when homosexuality and transgenderism were being promoted. Judge Wolf argued that teaching diversity in sexual orientation was "reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy" and trumped both parental rights and their sincerely held religious beliefs. And, since same-sex marriage was legal in Massachusetts, where the Parkers and Wirthlins reside, on what basis could they ask for their children to be removed from class? Based on this ruling, the superintendent of schools in Lexington, MA, recently explained to a concerned parent that, "The court decided we are not required to inform parents in advance of teaching units that include same gender parents or required to release students when such topics are discussed."

"This is a civil rights issue no different than segregation. We are born this way and we cannot change."

Many black Americans are offended by this analogy and do not feel it is fair to compare the color of one’s skin with the sexual relations one chooses in private. Also, there is no such thing as “ex-black” whereas many people claim to be “ex-gay,” and recent scientific studies have confirmed that some homosexuals can, in fact, change, while other studies point to a large degree of sexual fluidity, especially among women. Even if you reject the possibility of change, however, and claim that homosexuality is inborn and immutable, how does that relate to civil rights? All of us reject pedophilia for many reasons, yet pedophiles claim that they were born that way, that they would never choose such a sexual orientation, and that they cannot change. Do we then grant them the “civil right” to their behavior because it is inborn and immutable? Or do we lower the age of consent to accommodate ephebophiles who are attracted only to young teenagers (and who also claim their orientation is inborn and immutable)? Why discriminate against them if our behavior and orientation can be justified based on being inborn and immutable?

"Children raised in same-sex households are no different than children raised in heterosexual households."

A meta-analytical study by pro-gay researchers Stacy and Biblarz indicated that children raised in same-sex households were more prone to promiscuity, crossing gender lines, and same-sex attraction. To cite one example, they found that lesbian mothers had a feminizing effect on their sons and a masculinizing effect on their daughters. They also reported that “the adolescent and young adult girls raised by lesbian mothers appear to have been more sexually adventurous and less chaste . . . in other words, once again, children (especially girls) raised by lesbians appear to depart from traditional gender-based norms, while children raised by heterosexual mothers appear to conform to them.” On a more personal note, Dawn Stefanowicz, raised by a gay father, wrote, “What makes it so hard for a girl to grow up with a gay father is that she never gets to see him loving, honoring, or protecting the women in his life.” Children do best with a mom and dad, but same-sex marriages guarantee that this possibility will never exist for children they raise.

"In the past, the Bible was used in America to promote slavery, segregation, and the suppression of women, just as it is now being used to suppress gays and lesbians."

It is true that the Bible was misused to promote slavery, segregation, and the suppression of women, but it was actually the proper use of the Scriptures that fueled the anti-slavery and anti-segregation movements, while there are numerous verses in the Bible that speak in glowing terms of the importance of women. In fact, anthropologist Rodney Stark pointed out that one reason that Christianity spread so rapidly in the ancient world was because it was so egalitarian and so liberating for women. In contrast, there is not a single verse in the Bible that extols homosexual behavior, to the point that even the gay-affirming biblical scholar Walter Wink noted that, “The Bible is negative toward same-sex behavior, and there is no getting around it. “ He also stated that "Paul wouldn’t accept [a nonexploitative homosexual] relationship for a minute."

"Giving us the right to marry would not affect the rights of those who differ with us, especially the rights of people of faith."

The Washington Blade (May 30, 2008) asked, “Apart from state- or federally funded religious programs, could the legalization of same-sex marriage in California prevent priests and ministers from preaching that homosexuality is biblically forbidden? Could churches in time risk their tax- exempt status by refusing to marry gays? That remains to be seen and will likely result in a steady stream of court battles” (my emphasis). Catholic Charities in Boston dropped out of the adoption business because they were required by the state to place children in same-sex households; Elaine Photography in New Mexico was found guilty of discrimination for refusing to photograph a same-sex commitment ceremony because of religious convictions; and a doctor in California was found guilty of refusing to artificially inseminate a lesbian woman so she and her partner could have a baby, again because of religious convictions, and despite the fact that this doctor personally referred the patient to another doctor. As predicted by lesbian legal scholar Chai Feldblum, when religious liberty and sexual liberty conflict, “I’m having a hard time coming up with any case in which religious liberty should win.” A just-released study by The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty has also found that over 350 separate state anti-discrimination laws would likely be affected by the legal recognition of same-sex "marriage."

"It is a lie of the religious right that legalizing same-sex marriage will open the door to legalizing polygamy and incestuous relationships."

Actually, polygamy involves a far less radical redefinition of marriage than does same-sex marriage, since marriage is fundamentally the union of a man and a woman more than it is the union of two people. Polygamy is also legal in much of the world and has been the accepted norm in many cultures throughout history, whereas same-sex marriage has never been the norm in any nation at any time in the past. Because same-sex marriage so radically redefines the nature of marriage, marriage certificates were changed in California after the Supreme Court’s decision in May to refer to “Partner A” and “Partner B” rather than bride and groom, while birth certificates in Spain now refer to “Progenitor A” and “Progenitor B” as opposed to Mother and Father. It should also be noted that pro-incest and pro-polygamy cases currently before courts in the USA and abroad are pointing to same-sex marriage rulings for support.

"There is a constitutional right to same-sex marriage."

The California Supreme Court, by a four-three vote, recently claimed to discover such a constitutional argument, claiming that everyone has a basic right “to establish a legally recognized family with the person of one’s choice,” yet there is not a single sentence in the Constitution that can be fairly construed to support this “right” for same-sex couples. Moreover, following the Court’s logic, there is no basis for refusing the “right” of two gay brothers to marry and “establish a legally recognized family,” and it is with good reason that justice Marvin Baxter wrote in his dissenting opinion, "I cannot join this exercise in legal jujitsu, by which the Legislature’s own weight is used against it to create a constitutional right from whole cloth, defeat the People’s will, and invalidate a statute otherwise immune from legislative interference."

The bottom line is that this is not an issue of civil rights or constitutional rights; rather, it is an issue of right and wrong, and it is dangerously wrong to tamper with the historic and sacred institution of marriage, one that exists for the benefit of the family and the state, and one that forms the bedrock of human society. We do well not to tamper with our foundations! It is also a well-known fact that many gay activists have promoted same-sex marriage for years, knowing that it would be a major stepping stone for the complete normalization of homosexuality in society. The implications of this are enormous, and while we should have compassion for those who sincerely desire the “right” to same-sex marriage, we dare not alter the foundations of human society.

Finally, it is utterly hypocritical for gays and lesbians to call for tolerance, diversity, and inclusion and then to label as “hate-filled bigots” all sincere people of faith (or non-faith) who oppose same-sex marriage on religious or moral grounds. Where is the tolerance, diversity, and inclusion? Why is the democratic process not enough? Could it be that those who espouse “tolerance” have the potential of being the most intolerant? Could it be that those speaking against “hate” are actually engaging in it?

It is no surprise, then, that today, as I write these words, protesters at a rally in Sacramento, California are holding up signs with slogans such as: Prop 8=American Taliban; Ban Bigots; Majority Vote Doesn’t Matter; We Won’t Go Away; 52%=Nazi; Don’t Silence the Christians, Feed Them 2 the Lions, and lastly, Your Rights are Next. We have been forewarned!

Those of us who claim to be followers of Jesus should adhere to the biblical injunction to overcome hatred with love and to conquer evil with good, reaching out to those who oppose us, sharing with them the message of forgiveness and transformation through the gospel, and standing firmly on our convictions, knowing that God’s ways are best.

We shall not be moved!

A 9-Day Prayer Focus

Dear Friends:

With all the waters rising and rivers flowing, and societal structures changing, we must have revelation on how to interpret the times. The level of contention that is brewing in this land is overwhelming. You hear the concept of revolution and revolutionaries being discussed daily. This nation was birthed on revolution and will see revolution again. This political election seems like the two women in the Bible arguing over the one live baby (I Kings 3). There are some that have a righteous heart for the Lord. There are others who are motivated by political ambition, a Judas spirit. May the “one” who has the true heart of God for this nation be exalted by God and come into a new place of nurturing and leadership for our nation.

How we vote is how we will be visited. I do know the people of this nation will be allowed by a Holy God to choose their future. We could make a choice that would be detrimental in days ahead. As the word of God says in I Samuel 8, the nation of Israel chose a king. In Samuel 8:18 the Lord warns the people that if they choose a King that is not His choice, the following would happen: “And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the LORD will not hear you in that day.” We are now determining our future. The real danger is the Lord turning His ear away from us in days ahead because we make a choice that is against His will. Kingdom people must do the will of God. We are a nation above other nations. Concerning this nation, the picture below is a great reflection of what I see ahead of us.

Notice in the picture the river and the rift or schism. I recently met Pam and some of my children at the Grand Canyon. I had been ministering in Las Vegas and then drove to meet them for one day before we proceeded on to Phoenix. When I was viewing this magnificent display of God’s power and creation, I saw something. What I saw quickened in me and reminded me of what I saw in August 2007. It was then that the Lord began to show me a nation divided. He has continued to deal with me from an intercessory standpoint to get prepared for a great schism that is coming to this nation. On May 31, 2008, I was ministering at the major gate of this nation in Liberty Park, New Jersey, and as the Spirit of prophecy began to fall I exclaimed what our nation would look like in the future. I have not yet had the liberty to discuss all that I saw. As my family and I looked at one of the incredible viewpoints on the rim of the Grand Canyon, the Lord spoke to me and said, “A new type of river is now rising in this land. This River will create a schism unlike anything this nation has ever known before.” Be prepared - this nation as we know it will no longer be the same. In the Hebraic Year 5769, the Year of the New Wineskin, we must be prepared for the structure of this nation to change.

A schism is a division or disunion of mutually opposed parties. In Ecclesiastical understanding, a schism occurs when a formal division or separation occurs where some doctrinal or administrative difference in one sect of the Body creates an offense resulting in division. Division is the opposite of multiplication. I Corinthians 12:20-26 states, “But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I have no need of you’; nor again the head to the feet, ‘I have no need of you.’ No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.”( NKJV). A rift is means to burst open or split. A rift is an opening made by splitting. This can be like the picture you see above or can occur from a break in friendly relations or difference of opinion. We can agree to disagree without condemning each other. I see the River of God that has been released from the heavenly realm creating a new place for us to stand and cry forth for His power and glory to come into the earth.

"Rivers" and "waters" are frequently used in Scripture to symbolize abundance, as of the grace of God (Ps 36:8; 46:4; Isa 32:2; 41:18; John 7:38), of peace (Isa 66:12), of good things of life (Job 20:17; 29:6), and of God's providence (Isa 43:19-20). The fruitfulness of trees planted by rivers is figurative of the permanent prosperity of the righteous (Ps 1:3; Jer 17:8). However, rivers can also be related to affliction (Ps. 69:2; Is. 43:2). The drying up of rivers represents God's judgments (Isa 19:1-8; Jer 51:36; Nah 1:4; Zech 10:11), as can their overflowing (Is. 8:7-8; 28:2,17; Jer. 47:2) and moving outside of its originally intended boundaries. How the water gushes or flows indicates a message from the heavenly realm by the Father-God of creation to His people. How to enter the “Harvest Waters” is of utmost importance to understand at this time in history. This is a time of violent praise. This River must rise! We are nation that has many factions within it. I share much about the blood war in God’s Unfolding Battle Plan.

Watch this winter! Winter torrents sometimes come down with great suddenness and with desolating force. Get ready for accelerated changes that will begin this winter. What we see in the natural will become spiritual. That river will become torrential and devastating to some and refreshing and moving to others - bringing us to a new place of harvest. The river of God is stirring the fish. They are coming to the surface. The Lord will fill our nets if we will creatively stand in the rising river and not fear being swept away.

God’s river is life. His life always overcomes death. There must be a fresh release of His Kingdom River in America. Ezekiel 47:9 says, "Everything will live where the river goes." This river even has power to heal nations (see Ezekiel 47:12 and Revelation 22:1-2). Saying we need a release of the river of God is another way of saying we need a fresh outpouring of His Spirit. Nothing else will break this spirit of death and political schism that is rising in this land. We must return to the Lord. This means to repent, which means to change our minds. We must repent for having divisive political leanings that cause us not to represent the God of Righteousness in our choices we make. We are a nation above all nations and must always represent His Kingdom in our actions in the earth.

I love reading about Elijah. James said that we have an emotional make up like him. I have been studying the end of 1 Kings 18 and the beginning of 1 Kings 19, and asking the Lord for revelation over the “Baal” structures that would oppose our nation. Elijah faithfully carried the word of the Lord in his heart until the time came to intercede, bring God’s word into the atmosphere, and produce change. After the birth of the next season, he established himself in the gate of the nation. However, the strongman, Jezebel, made a decree that opened his eyes to the demon rule in the nation. I Kings 19:2, says, that he “SAW” her threat. That means that the demonic forces behind her threat could be seen in the atmosphere. He “saw” the demonic forces empowering her threat and could not stand before them. This caused him to vacate his position of victory and flee. He needed new strength from a new word of revelation that would produce a new faith so he could continue to stand.

Stand firm, do not run! Wait for the next word, and we will see a generation arise that will overthrow the Jezebel structure in the land. Babylonian spirits have brought great confusion into this land. There is coming of God something that will look confusing but will produce a new order in this land. We must not compromise or rearrange our support for God’s covenant land. Babylon is shaking. We must stand in our relation with Israel and watch God produce a people in this land who will stand for our future. Stand and command these spirits that would negatively direct our government to be blown from their position of influence.

9 Days for you to Make the Shift that God is Requiring NOW in our Lives at the Crossroads of History and the Blending of the Generations:

Day 1: Develop His MIND! Read Philippians 2 and Romans 8. Don’t lean on your own understanding. You will never make the right choice with your limited knowledge. Philippians 2:5-8 says, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus… who made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant … He humbled Himself and became obedient.” Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Don’t let Satan’s scheme fashion you into one who thinks like the world. Don’t let outward appearances deceive you, causing you to miss what God is doing. We must prove the voice of God, and practice in everyday life what God’s will from heaven is declaring to us. Romans 8:7 says, “The carnal mind is in enmity with God”. Declare that the Lord will put His finger on every area of carnality in your thinking.

Day 2: Learn to express His heart! Memorize and Mediate on Proverbs 29:18 and 2 Chronicles 20:20. Prophecy is expressing the mind and heart of God. Let the Lord deal with your emotions. Invite the Spirit of God to subdue your emotions so His heartbeat can be heard. Declare that all self pity and hope deferred is being removed from you. Command bitterness and unforgiveness to leave your soul. Express the heart of God in your thinking. Don’t let inordinate affections cause inappropriate alignments in your life. The heart can have weights or attachments. I declare a “free” heart over you. Without correct prophetic revelation we perish.

Day 3: Change your atmosphere! Read Matthew 13. Speak faith!! Jesus could do very little in Nazareth because the atmosphere was so filled with unbelief. Jesus was the all-powerful God walking the earth, capable of signs and wonders, yet the atmosphere in Nazareth created a barrier for His intervention. Break the negative atmospheric presence around you by prophetic declarations of victory!

Day 4: Do exploits! Optimize resources! Memorize Daniel 11:32 which says “the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and do exploits for God!” Remember to “optimize.” That means to see things from a positive standpoint. To do exploits means to take the resources you have and create new resources or bring them into a new level of fullness. This is one of the things that God means when He says to optimize resources. Read Psalm 30 and Genesis 1 and 2. In a Mudslinging Year (9, the Hebraic character Tet, means Mud and Mire), take all the mud that is being slung and be creative. The Lord was creative with mud. He made us from it!

Day 5: Watch for the “suddenlies!” Read 2 Chronicles 29:20-36. We’ve heard about the suddenlies happening, but now they manifest. If hope deferred and weariness is ruling you, you will miss the time when our Lord moves on your behalf. If fear is influencing you, you won’t understand when God starts breaking through on your behalf. The process that you’ve been going through is moving toward a SUDDENLY!

Day 6: Learn the process of going “OVER”! Read Isaiah 54 and memorize verse 17. We must have an “over” mentality. Overtake or be overtaken. Overthrow or be overthrown. Overturn or be overturned. Overcome or be overcome. Be sure you are being overseen. Also, define the sphere that you are overseeing!

Day 7: Develop a Kingdom mentality! Read Mathew 11, 13 and Luke 9, 13. The Kingdom of God is within you. We build the Church, but we get keys to the Kingdom. Study the Kingdom. Matthew 11:12 says, “.. now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” The Kingdom advances in victory. This occurs through violent spiritual conflict and warfare. Fear not! The Church is God’s warring agent. Worship and war! The Kingdom increases. Understand the sword and the fire because they are both important in the battle ahead.

Day 8: Find your new river of JOY! Psalm 30, Psalm 46 and John 11-12. Do not let the RIFT ahead stop you from standing. Praise causes Him to enthrone Himself in our midst. Jesus’ display of glory to raise Lazarus from the dead created a rift. Do not let upcoming manifestations create a rift that keeps you from experiencing God’s Kingdom plan.

Day 9: Experience a SHIFT in the Rift! Read Genesis 13 and 14. For God’s covenant plan to make the next shift, there came a rift between Abraham and Lot. This was really over provision and worldly choice. A “shift” is a change of place, position or direction. A shift also includes an exchange or replacement of one thing for another. A shift is a change of gear so you can accelerate. A shift can also be an underhanded or deceitful scheme. Therefore, in our shift we must recognize that the enemy is plotting to stop it. A shift also entails a scheduled time. Shaking occurs during a shift. Think of a fault line. A rift is the place of dividing. God has a time where division is necessary for His covenant to come forth in a new way. Jesus said it this way: “I didn’t come to bring peace, but a sword!” Let’s just be sure that we, in God’s Kingdom, don’t use the sword on each other.

They came like waves crashing onto the shores of California. Leaving behind a legacy of glory and apostolic influence, great manifestations of the power and love of God broke in on past generations of hungry saints. Waves of God’s great presence cascaded upon her shores in 1906, 1919, 1947, 1948, 1967, 1971, 1980, and 1994. These waves are California’s revivals. In the midst of unspeakable decadence, corporate greed, cultural trend setting, and global pornographic exportation, there lies deposited deeply below California’s crusty surface gold-there’s oil in her hills. Something continually draws God to the scene. Could it be that God is drawn to her pain? Maybe God sees her shores as hosting planet's lost prophets with misplaced passions or maybe he is drawn to the cry of her wandering masses. Whatever be the case, He comes, and when he does, the entire world is changed. The tongues of fire that erupted at Azusa have lit up the world. The revivals sown in Hollywood loosed great evangelists like Bill Bright and Billy Graham. The Jesus Movement gave us Calvary love songs that have kissed the youth of the globe. The new wine of worship and healing came from California’s vineyards. These ancient songs awaken us from our nightmare and remind us something that was and can be again. Hollywood, the “woman at the well”, could become the great evangelist again in these last days.

In 1946, Franklin Hall launched a fasting and prayer movement out of San Diego with a book called Atomic Power With God Through Fasting and Prayer. Thousands were stirred to enter into extended consecration fasts. Shortly after, the great healing revival broke out in 1947, followed by the campus revivals, and the Hollywood revivals in 1948. In the very same year, across the globe in the heart of the middle-east, by God’s divine mandate Israel was again called a nation. Could there be that there was a connection between what God was doing in California and the orchestrating of His divine purposes in the creation of the nation of Israel? Is it possible that the outpouring of God presence and the igniting of prayer in California were in reality connected with God’s heart to birth an entire nation? I believe it was global Joel 2 moment in which the scripture promises that after the fast, God would restore the land and pour out his spirit on all flesh. I hear TheCall again; “Gather the people, call a fast, and afterwards I will pour out my spirit.”

Now 50 years later, California sits within a fog of Jezebel confusion. Recently the Supreme Court of California disregarded the votes of the people and legalized homosexual marriage. The entire world listened attentively as the mayor of San Francisco boasted, “As California goes, so goes the rest of the nation. Its inevitable, this door is wide open. It’s going to happen whether you like it or not. This is the future, and its now.” The world is looking to California for moral leadership while California finds herself caught in the snare of idolatry and self-worship. Recently I received an urgent call on behalf of hundreds of pastors admitting that California wouldn’t be saved simply political petitioning and confessed the reality of an ongoing spiritual battle within the state and the need to mobilize for mass fasting and prayer. They asked us to bring TheCall to San Diego, not knowing that we received several powerful directives from the Lord a year ago that TheCall was going to go to the stadium in San Diego.

This bill mentioned is a reflection of how far down the line we have come in removing the very moral foundations that preserve society. The moral levies in America are breaking and once marriage is redefined, it will be a matter of time before the entire structure of morality collapses within our nation. In one sense, this bill mirrors our own inward moral concessions as a church to the prevailing culture, and it is the fruit of a compromising silence that has failed to confront the rising spiritual and political contenders. But it is not too late! This is not a time for hiding in caves. This is a time to resist mightily the spirit of peaceful coexistence and apathetic resignation in the face of this prevailing darkness. We are coming to a Mount Carmel moment, which I believe could be the church’s finest hour where she challenges her own compromise and then gains authority through prayer and action which is her true vocation. Then our light will break forth like the dawn and truth will no longer be trampled under the feet of renegade kings and judges. The church is not at the mercy of political decrees of destruction. Jesus is the Lord of history! Though these decrees stand today, they will not stand forever. God is the one who reverses the edicts of man, using the church as an agent of righteous revolution to displace kings and overthrow their decrees through the weapons of fasting and prayer.

Therefore, we are summoning believers from all across the state of California and the nation to gather for a Joel 2 moment. When there is no remedy, when there is no natural hope, God still has a holy prescription. Blow the trumpet in Zion, gather the people, and call a fast. Let the believers of this great state gather and cry out to God believing that California could become the flash point of real change in America not the open door to societal collapse. Let us return to the fasting praying womb in San Diego and seek the face of God on November 1st, 2008 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, CA.

“There is a song within you that I have placed from the beginning. Now is the time for that song to come forth. These are days of deliverance for My people. I will deliver you from those strategies that would stop your new beginning. Many of the strategies are within your soul. I am preparing a people that will wear redemption, joy, and power into the future. I am preparing a people filled with My glory. My name rests within you and now is the time for My name to come alive within your inner being. I am ready to burn away that which has profaned My name within you. I am ready for My glory to be seen upon My people.

Your song is important. Your sound will create new moves within the earth. So let the sound within you come forth. THE SHOUT OF THE KING must come forth in you at this time. Worry not how you sound, but SHOUT THE KINGLY SHOUT that dwells deep down in your inner being. MY SHOUT will break the soulish power that is resisting your change. This will cause a flow of My Spirit to rise within you and the gifts that have been quenched will come alive again. My gifts create joy.

Your sound can uncover what the enemy is withholding and hiding from you. Your sound will cause the River of Revelation in you to be released. If you will allow Me to fill your heart with joy, you will be able to hear the Word I have for you. I AM bringing a new Word very near to you that will give you the strength you need to press through into your next contract, into the next business level, into the next level of favor. This is a Word that will cause you to secure your next portion. Sound uncovers what the enemy has covered.

This is a day of fanning the glory in your blood and not just trying to dissect and remove the iniquity that has resisted My WORD. If you’ll fan the glory it will push out the iniquity that has twisted your bloodline and caused you to miss opportunities in the past. If you will fan the glory you will hear My counsel! You have a glory that I have placed within you that will begin to move! Your heart will rejoice, and you will have strength to embrace the Word I’m trying to bring to you.

You are trying to hear Me without having the movement of My glory in your blood. You must hear Me NOW, but the Word I will speak will bring many changes to your life. My threshing sledge is coming to winnow and remove old iniquitous structures that have caused you to resist harvest increase. Don’t fear the separating power that I am bringing upon your life. The song of glory in you has been blocked, but I AM sending a wind of release. Your blood has been moving slowly but now your blood will sing a song of deliverance. Your blood and glory is awakening and will sing a new song. Hear MY Word, for it is very close to you! Tell your flesh to rest in hope because your blood is waking up to MY will. My Word is filled with fire and will burn out the passivity that has resisted My movement in you. You will win the war over your flesh and wake up the glory in your blood. This will cause your flesh to rest in hope.

I have yet to reveal to you the breaking forth of your entry way. My shout will work inside of you. Do not put your eyes on men or circumstances around you. Let My shout do its work until it comes into the atmosphere that encircles and surrounds you. Once My shout enters the atmosphere, you will start seeing the breaking of the new day.”

Day 1: Read Ezekiel 28; Isaiah 14; Zechariah 3 & 4. Ask the Lord to show you what wealth has been hidden from you by the enemy. Ask the Lord to reveal the sound of deliverance that is within you! Hear the Lord rise up on your behalf and tell the enemy, “Enough is enough!” Make a list of every hindrance and obstacle in your path. Shout GRACE 8 times to each blockage. Declare you will see your portion that has been hidden!

Day 2: Read Psalm 16, Isaiah 60, Ephesians 4:25 - 5:21. Fan your glory until you sense the Lord rising in you in new way. Do this by taking off anger! Do this by breaking procrastination! Do this by looking in the mirror and encouraging yourself spiritually. Look beyond the outer reflection. Do this by singing a new spiritual song! Put on a new glory! Memorize two key scriptures from the passage in Ephesians. Ask the Lord to show you the new portion He has for you.

Day 3: Read Numbers 23, especially verse 21. Notice how the enemy wishes to curse you, but the shout within you causes even the enemy to bless you. Shout seven times against false altars that have been built against your life and watch the blessings of the Lord open up over you. Read Matthew 21, Mk. 11:10, John 12:13! Know that the Lord is going before you to deliver you! Sing Hosanna to the Lord!

Are you ready my dear ones, to step out beyond your former experience. Are you ready to trust Me in ways you have not been asked before? The time is here to come all the way; to step into the river of My Presence, into the anointing, the fire I Am pouring out upon all who are not shying back. Do not look around what others may do or think. Let go of the second foot that was still planted as security in the things of this world. You have trusted Me so far. Now is the time to let go without restraint or holding back. I Am He who has led you to this point. I have not changed and I will surly guide and keep you still. Come into this river that will free you once and for all. Become fully alive in this Spirit of life and wholeness. Submerge yourself and be filled to overflowing.

Only after you choose to fully ignore any part of the natural side of life I can pour out the fullness and power I desire for you to receive. Make your decision and come. Forget the net of safety you thought you needed before. Come into this new experience I Am opening before you. Then the fullness of My power will be at your command. Signs and wonders will come quickly and be an every-day occurrence. Do not be concerned about the lives and needs of your loved-ones. I will surely meet all of their needs and keep them near and secure. You are the soldier I have trained for this time, in the army that is ready to be sent forth. Join the ranks of all the ones who aren't afraid to trust their God and Master. As always, I will be in you and with you. You have become My arms and legs in this decaying world, mighty warriors that shall always be victorious. The trumpet for the final battle is about to be blown. The ranks are filling for the time has come. Victory is guaranteed before we even start. THE GOLDEN EARRING

BOB JONES: “This is what the Lord would say to thee: Tell them of My way. What do I require of them this day, so that they may draw close to Me and stay that way continually? For I have come close to them this night. I brought the golden earring you see. And the awl was to pierce your ear to where you would ever be a love slave to Me. For I say those who are love slaves to Me will be the closest to Me you see. They will come and minister to Me. They will say unto Me how they love Me and how I am everything to them both night and day.
So this is what the Lord is saying this day. Come and totally give yourself to Him in every way. So that His awl can go through you and He can use you in these coming days. For it is many ways He will use you, you see. Because you’ll be right at His bed. Your ear will be tuned to Him and you will hear what He does say. And you will take it to those whom He speaks to you clearly. So what He is saying, what will it cost you to have great intimacy with Me? Everything you see. But what have you got to lose? For I have got everything awaiting for thee. For you were created to minister to Me, saith the Lord.

And this day I am calling you to come close to Me. And I will put the golden earring in your ear and then your main testing will begin you see. For then you will be responsible for obeying what you hear from Me. Get ready to hear and obey - clearly, that’s what you’ve been wanting. And those who surrender themselves to Me, out of them shall flow My river of life which has already begun this very day. Those that are My servants you see, sometimes they will heal - sometimes they will deliver. But they will always be in My will in what I am saying that day. So they will do many different things, so dont measure on one thing you see. For My Son did many things when He was down here with you in His day. And now I am raising up sons and daughters that look just like Him. For this is the only thing that pleases Me is His nature in all of you. And that it will remain there continually, as relationship increases between you and Me.”

TODD BENTLEY: “There’s such a great anointing here. It’s a historic night and there is a prophetic Word. Things are being release and confirmed. Decree a thing and it will be established. I know tonight’s the night where God is turning the page in this outpouring. And we just love Your Presence Lord!
Do you know one thing Bob, that God told me when I came, and that anointing started to show up. He asked me if I would take time every day to be with Him....He told me the glory would only keep falling if we stay in His Presence.”

THE 100 YEAR PROPHESY

BOB JONES: “What is the Lord doing? I brought a 100 year prophesy for a long time, let’s look at it.

· The 1950’s reveal the power of God. William Branham, Oral Roberts, AA Allen. The 1960’s reveal the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit invaded the denominations. The 1970’s reveal the great teachers of God and they began to raise up.

· The 1980’s reveal the prophets of God.
· The 1990’s reveal the government of God.
· The 2000 would reveal the glory of God. You haven’t seen anything. Wait till you see the next two years!

· The 2010 would reveal the faith of God. It’s not have the faith “in” God, it is to have the faith “of” God. And it’s going to be those that have that earring in and hear what God is saying. And what you’ll do, you’ll proclaim it. And you’ll bring it into being.

· The 2020’s reveal the rest of God. To where you can rest from your labors and God will work His work through you in your rest and in your peace.

· The 2030’s will reveal the family of God.
· 2040’s will reveal the kingdom of God.
· 2050’s will reveal the sons and daughters of God.

· I only saw til 2060 and the church was still here and it wasn’t defeated by any means. It had really grown and looked a lot like Christ. So if you’ve got short range plans, make long range plans.”

THE JOSHUA GENERATION

BOB JONES: “Now I know that non of you are over 50 out there. (smile) But last year I brought a Word for those over 50. The Lord is looking for a Joshua generation, they were all over 50. And those that’s over 50 if they get a vision for God – Usually when you get over 50 you want to retire, want to sit around and do nothing and also make out your funeral arrangements and you’ll shortly need them. But if you get a vision of serving God, there is no telling how long you will live. Because Joshua and Caleb when the took them across, they were 85 years old. And they lived a long time after that. And the Lord is after people that’s got a long range vision. And if you begin to serve the Lord and what He has called you to, I wouldn’t put any date on when I was going home because you don’t know and the Lord’s purpose will be fulfilled in your life before you do.”

BOB JONES DEATH EXPERIENCE

“It will be 33 years this coming August the 8th. I stood before the Lord in death because I brought some prophesies the devil didn’t like. Like there would be some homosexual disease you couldn’t cure. Abortion was going to be formed in such horrible ways it made people sick when I brought them, so they didn’t welcome me back in their churches. And I bought words like there will be chemicals, cheap chemicals they mix together and there would be a horrible, soul killing drug: Meth labs. And I went to the Lord because of these prophesies. And I died in great pain.

And I went into a tunnel and there was a man that stood beside me. He was all white. I have never seen His face. He is the Parakleet, the Holy Spirit.

I walked out of a tunnel and a light come on me, that I wish I could tell you how good it felt. Of all the good existence that you have ever lived, if you put them in one sentence, they would actually be nothing compared to how well I felt. I felt so secure, so loved. I was wrapped up in the anointing of God, it was like white light. I never felt so loved. I asked the Lord what is this? He said it’s the love of God. I said, the love of God is white? He said no, the glory of God is white. What is this? It’s the glory and love of God in John 17.
John 17:22-24 AMP

I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

As I drew close to Him I saw the great and the small. I saw on one side, people going to hell. And they were great number. On my side there were few. And when they come before Him. He would only ask you one question when you stand before Him. Did you learn to love? You are born in a fallen condition. If you learn to love, then you are going to do all the other things you are supposed to do. {I John chapters 3,4 & 5}

So He said, the enemy killed you before your time, I want you to go back. I told Him I’m not doing any good, nobody is listening to me. He said, you are a liar because you spoke My Words and My Words will happen. I said it was pretty painful back there and He said, you are sort of a coward too. But when you were a Baptist, you had a love for souls. If you can look at those that’s going another place, and want to come in, I will bring you in. But if you go back, you will see the beginning of Me bringing a billion youth unto Myself. The greatest harvest of all times!”

TODD BENTLEY: “Bob did you know right now the vision of God TV, is one billion souls?”

BOB JONES: “Well they are just agreeing with the Lord!”

MORE ON THE OVER 50’S

BOB JONES: “By the way, why does the Lord need the over 50’s? Because this billion youth are coming and you are not going to stop them. They are looking for the truth. They are looking for an absolute and they are not finding it anyplace. There’s only one absolute, that’s the cross of Jesus Christ. And the Holy Spirit is getting ready to reveal it to them.

The only problem if you dont have the over 50’s and the pain and failure in their life to help guide, motive and direct them – it will become a fad. So the over 50’s it’s time that you really begin to put that golden earring in your ear and you get a vision for living into 120 because you can.

And also another thing that the over 50’s have got. They’ve got the bucks and it aint going to do you any good in the grave. But when you invest it into the kingdom, you are not going to have to worry about your health insurance, because you are going to be healthy. There are things that are happening now; we are in a change, one of the greatest changes of all times.”

ABOUT THE GLORY OF THE LORD

TODD BENTLEY: “Now Bob let me just back up real quick again. It was 1975 wasn’t it, when you died and went to heaven? {Bob: “Yep.”} And you were sent back because the Lord told you, you would be preparing a generations for a billion souls to come into the kingdom at one time?”

BOB JONES: “Well He actually told me I want you to touch the leaders. I am going to change the leadership in a big way. I want you to touch them. I am going to raise up leaders that will have a heart for Me and have a heart for people. You touch them and I’m going to bring in the billion. You go back, and you will live to see the beginning of it. It has begin!”

For years I have known men and women of God that prayed. I have known holy prophets that looked for this day. They are gone now, but they were seeing this day. They knew this day would come. This is a harvest of harvesters. In the next 2 years, you are getting ready to see the glory of God fall on you as you begin to witness. I doubt if many of you ever saw it. When I saw it removed from the earth, I asked the Lord I didnt want to live without it.”

TODD BENTLEY: “Now that was in 1977 wasnt it? When the glory left and God told you it would come back when?”

BOB JONES: “He said you will be white headed. You will live to see it return, it will never leave again. {Large shouts and praise from the audience}
I want to tell you something about the glory, you’ll walk into a restaurant and you will hear something scream. And demons will scream and leave people just because of your presence. {You can see on the camera that Bobby Conner is sitting on the platform. Bobby says, “Amen!!!” with a large smile and shakes his head in total agreement.}

You’ll be in a grocery line and people will come and stand right by you and say the depression left when I stood by you - do you mind if I stand pretty close to you? You wont have to witness, they will come to find out. In the oceans down around Pensacola, it’s called Jubilee. That’s when the fish jump out of the water and land on the banks. Last year it did this twice, where you would go and pick them up. This is what I am talking about; God’s Jubilee. Where they are going to jump out at the bank, coming at you. And they are going to keep coming because you’ve got the answer. You’ve got the hearing ear. One thing about that golden earring, is that you do less talking and more listening and obeying.”

THIS IS NOT A REVIVAL, THIS IS MATURITY

“So these things are coming to pass. What’s some of the other prophesies out of the past? One of them was “It will begin the wind blows in the mulberry trees. {2 Sam 3:24,25} That’s the wrong interpretation. It will begin with the wind blows in the balm trees. What’s balm? It’s healings! You’ll know it’s begun when the healings are consistent.

I have saw a lot of revivals. I’m really not that much interested in revival any more. I saw the dead raised. I have saw revivals where everybody got healed. Some of them lasted as long as 3 days and it was gone. Some of them lasted just one day and it was gone. Bobby and I, we saw it to where everybody got healed including the cancer victims, but then it was gone. Revival is just like a rocket that goes up and then explodes. And it is darker afterwards. This is not a revival, this is maturity.

This isn’t meant to ever stop. I’m still pretty young. I probably wont live over 200 years, so I am not setting my faith for that. But everything that we do, and we move to will live over 200 years. We’re getting ready for holiness to come on a scale like you’ve never seen before.

Now I want to tell you something about the glory of God. What’s happening here? John 14:13 is what’s happening.

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
The Holy Spirit is glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ, He is not keeping it. He sends it right straight up to Papa. And the glory is billowing over the throne of God.

The worship leader in heaven, he rebelled and took the praise leaders with him. So Papa covered His throne with thunder, His voice, His lightening, His power and the shouts of the saints. I want to tell you what some of the shouts of the saints and glory is: healings. Do you know Who gets the glory for all these healings, all these miracles, all these deliverances? Daddy. It’s building up on the throne now. As it keeps building up, do you know what He is going to do with it? He is going to drop it down on His Son’s body. It’s a circle. Dont touch it. Dont take credit for what He is doing. For this is why He pulled the glory back. Give the Father the glory.”

Then the Lord awakened as from sleep, as a strong man whose consciousness of power is heightened by wine.

What would give My Daddy wine? Wine is joy. A sense of really well being. The fruit of the Spirit is the only thing you can give to God. You can give Him the fruit of the Spirit as a gift in your life. When you begin to let the joy come within you, that sense that everything is alright. I’m alright. I’ve got everything nailed to the cross. I’m alright. That’s the joy of God. It goes up to Him. The joy of the Lord is your strength. It’s better worded like this: You’re the only thing that gives your Daddy joy. He will strengthen you. And He woke up and here is what He is going to do: Ps 78:66 AMP And He smote His adversaries in the back [as they fled]; He put them to lasting shame and reproach.

This is all about Papa. You’ve had revelation of the Savior 2000 years ago. You had revelation of the Holy Spirit over 100 years ago. This last revelation is Who your Daddy is. And if you know who your Daddy is, you know who you are. I want to tell you something about bloodline. The child always takes the Papa’s bloodline. What blood line are you. See there is you and I. The following 8-Day Prayer Focus will assist you in understanding: 1. The desperateness of the time that we are living in, 2. The intensity of the time to produce change in our lives and the atmospheres that surround us, 3. The economical shift that needs to occur in this season, 4. The disciplined, unwavering, single minded need for God's children to stand in this hour. This focus integrates Purim, Passover, and Jesus' unwavering determination to release redemption in this hour. All three of these events were and are taking place during this time frame. We are in a key season like we have not known in the history of the generations that are presently in the earth. The nations are at a divine crisis point.

8-Day Prayer Focus: A Desperate Time to Awaken to the Reality of Change!
For the next several weeks this prayer focus is key for us. Even though it is an 8-Day Prayer Focus, there is enough revelation here for you to use repeatedly. Since we just finished Purim, let's begin by understanding its significance. Overall, this 8-day focus is more devotional than most, including study suggestions to help you develop for such a time as this. This prayer focus is also more confrontational than usual because of this time frame. I would suggest you read through each day's focus in the morning and then go back and seek the Lord with the scriptures at noon and at night.

(Day 1) A Time to Embrace Change but not to be Tossed to and fro by the Wind! The clear message of Purim is that anyone who plots to destroy the Jewish people will always fail. History is full of examples of this truth. Pharaoh plotted the destruction of the Jewish people in Egypt, but the Egyptian army was drown in the Red Sea. This is celebrated during the Feast of Passover. Haman's attempt to kill all Jews failed, which is celebrated at Purim. Antiochus Epiphanes tried to wipe out the Jewish people. His failure is celebrated every year during Hanukah. Hitler tried to blot out the Jewish race. Both he and his "Third Reich" were destroyed. Instead of annihilation, the state of Israel was born! We must understand that God's covenant land will never be destroyed. 2) 2008-- A Year to Passover, Overcome, and Go Through into FREEDOM!Purim fell approximately one month before the beginning of Passover. The Biblical Feast of Purim (Esther 9:18-28) is celebrated in the final month of the Hebrew calendar. I believe this is a significant timing so we end a season in victory and are freed to cross over into our future. Nisan, the first of months, begins at sunset on April 5. This leads us into our Passover season (Leviticus 23:4-8). Passover was the time of crossing out and over into FREEDOM! The dates of this Feast are very significant. Passover commemorates the final plague on Egypt when the firstborn of the Egyptians died and the Israelites were spared. Passover is linked with the power of the blood smeared on their door posts (Ex. 12:11, 21, 27, 43, 48). Passover was also called the feast of unleavened bread (Ex. 23:15; Deut. 16:16) because only unleavened bread was eaten during the seven days immediately following Passover (Ex. 12:15-20; 13:6-8; Deut. 16:3-8). Unleavened bread reflected the fact that the people had no time to put leaven in their bread before their hasty departure from Egypt. The observances of Passover are found in Joshua 5:10-12 (the plains of Jericho near Gilgal), 2 Chronicles 30:1, 3, 13, 15 (during the reign of Hezekiah); and 2 Kings 23:21-23 (Josiah's unique Passover).During New Testament times, large crowds gathered in Jerusalem to observe this annual celebration. Jesus was crucified during the Passover event. He and His disciples ate a Passover meal together on the eve of His death. During this meal Jesus said, This is my body, and this cup is the new testament in my blood (Luke 22:7, 19-20). The New Testament identifies Christ with the Passover sacrifice: For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. The word denotes the lamb that was slain at the feast (Mark 14:12-14; 1 Cor. 5:7). The use of wine (Luke 22:17, 20), of sauce with the bitter herbs (John 13:26), and the service of praise were introduced. Passover was a type of the great deliverance wrought by the Messiah for all His people from the doom of death on account of sin, and from the bondage of sin itself, a worse than Egyptian bondage (1 Cor. 5:7; John 1:29; 19:32-36; 1 Pet. 1:19; Gal. 4:4, 5). (Day 3) 2008-- A Time for Leadership to Awaken and Overcome at the Gate!The day related to Purim was the date set by Haman by casting lots (pur) to murder all the Jews in the kingdom. Because of the alertness of Mordecai at the gates of the city, and the fasting and intercession of Queen Esther of Persia and the Jewish people, this day became a day of battle with great victory for the Jews, as their enemies were destroyed. In the time of Esther, we find that the enemy had entered the gates and was planning to overthrow the covenant blessings God had for this people. In the book of Esther, Mordecai had exposed the enemy's plan and taken his authority at the gate. The Lord says in Matthew 16: 18, "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. This is not a time for hell to prevail at your gate. Esther and Mordecai worked together for deliverance! Haman, who used astrology and the casting of lots, was overthrown by God's ordered timing.I am praying for you to have favor at the gates and be raised up for a time such as this. Biblically, a GATE is a place for contending, watching, making sacrifices in worship, doing business transactions, administering justice, and giving public addresses. The GATE is the object of a foe's attack and therefore must be strengthened (Judges 5:8; Psalm 147:18).Now review your call to leadership and contending in days ahead. Read Isaiah 1. Also read John 1, which will show you how the Lord called Peter. Read Matthew 16 to see Peter's revelation and then his emotional resistance to change. God is raising up new Mordecais and Esthers to influence the world in days ahead. These individuals will do radical exploits in His name. Esther is a book where the destiny of God's covenant manifest by legislating authority at the gates can be seen. The gate of a city was where all business transactions and legal matters occurred. The city gate was also the place where entrance into the city was permitted or forbidden. A Biblical gatekeeper was one who guarded access to a place. Mordecai was a good gatekeeper. He knew the enemy had a plot and plan. The enemy will attempt to set a decree against you. Mordecai overheard the plan linked with Haman to annihilate God's covenant people in the land where Haman had prepared a noose for God's covenant people. Mordecai also knew he needed a connection to prevent the enemy's plan from prevailing. Esther was his connection, who had been positioned by God for such a time as this. Many of you are being positioned to see the plan of the enemy. Others of you are being positioned to be the connecting point to overthrow the enemy. I am praying that any plot of the enemy to try and stop the covenant blessings of your inheritance from coming forth in your life would be revealed. Find your divine connections and overthrow the enemy's plan! Trusting in God is one of the ways that you overthrow a curse. With Passover beginning at sunset on April 19, we think of Moses! One of the keys to Moses' life was that he was ordained as a prophet from birth. Even though his insecurity would tell him he could not speak, God had ordained him as a prophet. His mother and father's faith would eventually result in delivering all of Israel. This would also give Moses authority to split the sea for the escape of God's people. He also would receive the Law that would set the commandments and boundaries for mankind. There are new boundaries for you to obtain this month. Let the prophetic gift arise in you. Let a new level of deliverance begin. He waited 40 years to be found and put in service. Do not be discouraged. The Lord knows where you are.

(Day 4) A Time of Spiritual Discipline and Preparation! In our day, we are still in a time of battle and victory, a time of voluntary fasting. The Fast of Esther (Esther 4:14-17) is still relative for us today to enter into a new place of authority and gain favor. Men and women must work together this hour to defeat the enemy s plan. The key to Mordecai s life was his watchful eye at the gate on behalf of the King and God s covenant people. The key to Esther was her positioning and preparation. The word prepare means to make or get ready, to put together, to produce a frame for a future building, to gird oneself for action. This is a time to remember that in the midst of hostility we can be prepared for such a time as this. Through preparation and discipline the favor of God can rest upon us. Esther went in to the king, gained favor and grace in his sight, and was exalted into the royal position of queen. (Day 5) A Time to See Your Hidden Blessings Manifest! Esther is a non-Jewish name. Her original Jewish name was Hadassah, but her Jewish identity was a secret, and remained hidden. Esther became the bride of the king. The prophetic reference to the Church as the Bride of the King, but with Jewish roots despite a Gentile appearance, is very interesting. Esther would not escape the fate of the Jews, just as the destiny of the Church is directly linked to the Jewish people (Israel). Hadassah (means Myrtle) is an evergreen tree with glossy leaves and white flowers. They were used for perfume and as seasoning for food. The myrtle tree had a religious significance for the Hebrews (Zechariah 1:8-11) and was a symbol of peace and joy. Ask the Lord to show you what is hidden that belongs to you. (Day 6) A Time of Confrontation and Overthrow of the Enemy's Stranglehold! This is time to overthrow decrees that have been set against God's covenant people that would stop us from corporately advancing. Those anti-Semitic decrees hate God's sovereign plan for the Jews as well as Christians that have been grafted into that plan. Nations that profess Christianity must rise up now. Esther prayed and fasted three days prior to setting the wheels in motion to overthrow the enemy's plan. She had faith to go into the King's court because she was fully prepared at the end of these three days of fasting. Fasting helps prepare you for what you must face for your victory ahead. Esther was at the right place, at the right time, and did the right thing. Therefore, she had victory over the enemy. Your faith can overthrow any decree the enemy has established against you. The enemy prepares a noose to tighten around God's promised plan for your life. Faith breaks the power of that noose. Declare your Haman's noose will begin to break. The Lord is releasing new revelation on strategies to overthrow the enemy's plan. There were two things I was quickened over. There are times when we cannot win by pressing to overturn/reverse an unrighteous decree.Whereas this is usually the norm (and what we press for in the laws of our nation), Esther gives one example where a bad and evil law was irrevocable (according to the laws of the Medes and Persians). So the strategy the Lord gave to her (through the pagan king) was to make another law which would stand against the first law, and enable deliverance and life to come to the Jews. In this Purim Month the Lord may be releasing similar strategies whereby we can counteract and overcome evil edicts and laws in our society and nation.Securing victory and overthrowing our enemies can often involve several stages of war. Whereas Esther and Mordecai successfully warred to secure a decree that would allow the Jews to protect themselves, this was only another step in their deliverance. It s quite possible the Jews could have survived the day that their enemies hoped to overpower them, solely based on the new level of fear their enemies had for the Jewish people. However, if they had not gone on the offensive and destroyed their enemies as their decree allowed them to, they would not have secured lasting protection. In that case, in due time, under new leadership (like the Hebrews in Egypt with a new pharaoh), the Jews could have been oppressed and targeted for destruction once again. At the close of this Seven Year War Season, we must not be content to settle for preserving victories and the issuing of righteous decrees. Rather, we must fully war to the end of our battles to see complete deliverance and victory enforced, and the opposite of the enemy's plans occur. This is a season to speak faith and ask for new revelation! Ask the Lord to anoint your speech and open your eyes to the revelation He is releasing at this time.

(Day 7) Face Your AMALEKITE and Break the Power of his Noose! In Esther 3:1, the evil Haman is described as being a descendant of the Amalekite king, Agag (1 Sam 15:8). Therefore, besides the Book of Esther, another passage from the Tanach (Hebrew Bible) is read at Purim, Exodus 17:8-16. This is the account of Joshua's defeat of the Amalekites at Rephidim as Hur and Aaron held up the exhausted arms of Moses. When Moses' hands, gripping the "Rod of God", became heavy, the warriors in the field began to lose the battle. Verse 12 says that with Aaron and Hur's support, Moses' hands remained steady until the coming down of the sun. In the Hebrew, the word "steady" is "emuna" - and his hands were faithful until the coming of the sun." After the battle, Moses built an altar and named it, YHVH-Nissi: the LORD is my Banner. The word "banner" can also be translated "miracle." STUDY THIS AND DECREE MIRACLES ARE BEGINNING TO COME INTO YOUR ATMOSPHERE. The spirit empowering Amalek is at the back of all anti-Semitism. Exodus 17:16 states that "The LORD has sworn, the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation." Deuteronomy 25:19 commands that His people are to join in with Him in the battle until the memory of Amalek is blotted out - that Israel must not forget!Deuteronomy 25:17-18 further describes the tactics of the Amalekites: "They met you along the way and attacked among you all the stragglers at your rear when you were faint and weary" (emphases ours). So Amalek does not only seek to take occasion from the tiredness and exhaustion of leaders, he also lurks behind to pick off those inexperienced foot soldiers who are "faint and weary" and lagging behind. To remedy this, Israel developed a "rear guard" (see Numbers 10:25 and other places). The Hebrew for "rear guard" is "me'aseph"- its root is the same as that for the verb "to gather". In ancient armies, old, experienced soldiers, would be placed at the rear, not only to guard from enemies attacking from behind, but also to "gather" the loose ends, the stragglers - and to keep them pressing forward. The word Amalekite means to toil or work under hard labor.This is a time for you to break out of legalistic, hard labor. The Amalekites were a nomadic tribe of formidable people that first attacked the Israelites after the Exodus at Rephidim. Amalek, the grandson of Esau (Gen. 36:12), inhabited the desolate wasteland of the northeast Sinai Peninsula and the Negev. They were the first to attack Israel after the Exodus (Num. 24:20). This is where the Lord revealed Himself as Jehovah Nissi. He declared that we would war with Amalek from generation to generation. The antichrist spirit today is linked into this Amalekite spirit. Israel won the initial battle (Ex. 17:8-16) and because of their atrocities, God commanded Saul to exterminate the Amalekites (1 Sam. 15:2-3). Saul disobeyed, and the Amalekites were not defeated completely until late in the eighth century B.C. (1 Chron. 4:43). Haman the Agagite (Es. 3:1-10; 8:3-5,) thought by the Jews to be Amalek's descendant, from whence sprung Haman's hatred toward their race. Prepare yourself and watch your Haman hung on his own gallows. Break all compromise. Watch your enemy overplay his hand and you will end up victorious! Cross over and watch your new doors open! Memorize Isaiah 26:4, Isaiah 28:6Declare over your nation that the Amalekite structure will be revealed and overthrown.

(Day 8) Pray the Prayer of Confrontation! To confront someone or something means to face them in hostility or defiance, or to come with opposition. Unlike the prayer of travail, which brings forth new birth, the prayer of confrontation directly addresses a structure that has been set in place in opposition to God's will. This type of prayer not only outwits the devil but also humiliates him and his forces in the process. God allows us to enter into this type of encounter to show His power over the territorial spirit(s) to which a particular group of people has been in bondage. As the LORD displays that His power is greater than that of a given demonic structure, that structure begins to crumble and those who were held captive are then free to follow Christ.A wonderful biblical model for this type of prayer was Moses' confrontation with Pharaoh. As Moses declared God's will to Pharaoh in the earthly realm, he was also confronting in the spiritual realm the gods of Egypt - false deities (territorial spirits) - linked with the oppression and captivity of God's covenant people. Through the plagues and destruction unleashed upon the nation of Egypt as a result of Moses' confrontation, God's plan was fulfilled, the power of oppression was broken, and His people were released. The third deity was the son of Isis and Osiris, Horus the Child, a suckling child represented as a young boy sucking his finger. This final plague so overwhelmed the Pharaoh and so thoroughly defeated the gods of Egypt that the Israelites were finally set free. Power encounters through the prayer of confrontation that see people groups released from demonic structures are going to become more and more common as we enter the future war of the Church. We need to enter into an expectant mind-set that believes God will display His power greatly over the earth and over demonic structures in order to see great throngs loosed from Satan's grip. And from that mind-set, we must pray with unwavering faith prayers of confrontation according to His will. This is a season to move into POWER CONFRONTATIONS! Allow Holy Spirit to direct your prayers in a new way.

We Shall Do Valiantly

I am a poet. I am drawn to the Psalms, and the Psalms are drawn on me. Long ago, I began an adventure; writing the Psalms in my own God-given voice. As I allow the Psalms into me, they work through me, and I believe that the Word is made manifest, in flesh–on the paper, prophetically, in front of me.

I call this daily exercise, Psalming. Psalming is not difficult. Anyone can do it. You can have your own Psalming adventure, if you sit down with the Word, and write God a love letter, today. A love letter consists of your heart, shared with the Father. Let the Spirit open you up to who you are, deep inside. Allow Him to tell you how He feels about your deep, answering to His deep.

So, it’s no surprise that, when I was praying about 2008, God gave me a Psalm. Psalm 144. This Psalming download was so quick, that I could hardly write fast enough.

Numerically, 144 is a product of 2 x 6 x 2 x 6. Six is the number of man; all that is connected with human endeavors. I asked the Lord what this meant, and He said, “Ephraim,” which means, doubly fruitful. Verse 14 says, “Fill our barns with great harvest, fill our fields with huge flocks; Protect us from invasion and exile–eliminate the crime in our streets” (The Message Remix). The NASB Version, says, “Let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce, and our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields . . . let our cattle (or, all that we account for as our earthly treasures) burst forth, without mishap (abortion) and without loss” (vss. 13-14). If we honor the Lord from our wealth, the first of our produce, He promises that our barns will be filled with plenty and our vats overflow with new wine.

The number 144 is also the product of 12 x 12. Twelve is governmental perfection–only the Kingdom come among us could bring about this kind of governmental Ephraim! (2008 is an election year)

The number 144 is also a product of 3 x 4 x 3 x 4. Since 12 is a product of 3 (the perfectly Divine and heavenly number) and 4 (the earthly, the number of what is material and organic) I again see confirmation of Ephraim, a double blessing from the Divine over our work—all our work. And, in all this doubling, I am reminded that this is the year to look for strategic parings.

In my Bible, Psalm 144 is titled, the Psalm of Rescue and Prosperity. I believe that 2008 is the Year in which God will show Himself GREAT IN 2008! The Lord of the Sabaoth is in the house–God of the Angel Armies.

Psalm 144 begins like this: “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle,” (I especially like this, as I am a writer, and the thought of warrior fingers typing away on my computer, delights me!), “. . . My lovingkindness, my fortress, my stronghold, my deliver, my shield, my refuge. . . God, Who subdues peoples under me”(NASB, vss. 1,2). This says to me that He has equipped His people to war, to win, and then to have authority, over the territory taken. Andre Gide said, “The capacity to get free is nothing; the capacity to be free, that is the task.”

So, warriors, you know who you are! Jeremiah 51: 19-23 tells of the exploits of those who have been armed with the “double-edged” axe, mappeetz, or battle axe! “The portion of Jacob is not like these [warriors]; For the Maker of all is He, And [they are] of the tribe of His inheritance; The Lord of the Angel Armies is His name, He says, ‘You are My battleaxe, My weapon of war; And with you I shatter nations, And with you I destroy kingdoms . . . And with you I shatter governors and prefects.’”

“Bow the heavens, O Lord, and come down; Touch the mountains, that they may smoke. Flash forth lightening and scatter them; Send out Thy arrows and confuse [the enemy]” (Ps. 144:5-6).

A history of ancient Greek and Roman warfare (200 B.C.) where the battle axe was used, notes that “although the battle axe was wieldable on horseback, its main use was with the foot soldier who, with nerve and skill, could get at the side of a horseman, down his mount, and put him at a deadly disadvantage. Those foot soldiers, armed with the battle axe, often decided the battle.” A foot soldier is usually of the lowest rank. This is where the meek will inherit; meek is a term used for training a war horse (s) [as in a pair of horses used to pull a chariot] for battle. These pairs did not flinch, even in the heat of battle, because he or she has been so trained to respond only to the Master’s command, and not to the circumstances.

There is also a generational anointing upon our youth, that they will be doubly fruitful, in 2008. Vs. 12 says, “Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, and our daughters a corner pillars fashioned as for a palace.” And this will happen, when mothers and fathers begin to be:

“One generation [which will] praise Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts (praising is hard-wired into us, if we don’t Praise God, we will praise something). On the glorious splendor of Thy majesty, and on Thy wonderful works, I will meditate. And men shall speak of the power of Thy awesome acts; And I will tell of Thy greatness. They shall bubble over with the memory of Thine abundant goodness, And shall shout joyfully of Thy righteousness” (Ps. 145:4-7).

This praise stuff is catching—one generation will pass it on to the next, and to the next, and to the next! “See God on parade to the sanctuary, my God, my King on the march! Singers out front, the band behind, maidens in the middle with castanets. The whole choir blesses God!” (Ps. 28:24-26, Message Remix)

I have seen The Captain of the Angel Armies on the mountain. The army is amassing. Christ's warhorse is frothing at the mouth, stamping its front feet, its nostrils are flaring, and the horse is nearly heaving over the edge of the cliff with every breath of anticipation. This huge, white steed's muscles twitch with vigor, like an electric current that constantly travels through it. The horse upon which Christ sits, claws with hooves which make sparks of lightening (like flint on stone) that shoot out from the precipice. There are angels, sent ones, ascending and descending. The noise is unbearable, and yet there is no sense of chaos, or mayhem in His camp—only singular purpose. Only One Commander.

There are new assignments at your gates. You need to be watching and contending. There is a strong breastplate of righteousness that I must put on you now so that you have strength to resist. I am calling you into a resistant mode so that you can resist the blockers at your gate & Do not let Breath Robbers remove your strength. There are many Breath Robbers contending for those who are seeking My Spirit.

I am building a highway, but there is resistance at the entry way to keep you from walking through and entering this new road. Press through to the highway that I am establishing. If you get up on it, the demonic forces that are resisting you will not be able to get up on the highway.

The Year of New Beginnings 2008

We will enter gates with thanksgiving. And press on into the new. For this is the year of new beginnings. Opening gates we will pass on through.

We embrace prophetic revelation. We claim deliverance, healing and joy. As we open the gates in our lives. It's through worship new strategies employ.

We resist holding on to the old For by grace we take hold of the new. We embrace this new season of increase. Refreshed, fruitful and renewed.

Declare new witty inventions. Declare new revelations abound. Declare new life and fruitfulness Declare new levels of worship and sound.

Declare new times of refreshing Declare new overcoming power. Declare new and greater anointing. Declare new strength for the day and hour.

Declare new strategies for war Declare new visions and dreams. Declare new rest and restoration. Declare new living water and healing streams.

Declare! A Season of new beginnings!

Wonderful Season

The Christmas season is precious. We embrace the giving of gifts in the way that we can, creating new memories and traditions that build over the time and make each year more special than the last. There may be scrooge attitudes but certainly not as a majority. The warmth of the season motivates us, no matter what our situation.

Every Christmas there are friends whose lives are different this year – a loss, a struggle, something unfair that cannot humanly be restored. These are the friends we gather around most – to support and comfort, and to remind that when the Lord allows a door to close, He has already begun to open another.

As covenant sons and daughters of the LORD, we remember Psalm 105: His judgments are working and bring justice into the center of our lives; He remembers His covenant forever and the word he commands concerning you can never stop!

To belong to the LORD and have His hand upon our lives is greater than any sadness or disappointment, greater also than any exaltation. It is the highest condition! - and the position from which we look into the season as a fortunate time of blessing. The season belongs to the LORD and to His people. From that vantage point it is an opportune time to change yesterday’s clothes for new ones, a birthing time to enter the new, giving of what we do have - it is a wealth! Oh come; let us adore Him – Christ the LORD.

On January 2, 2008, new laws will require all public school instruction and activities to positively portray transsexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality to children as young as kindergarten. These terrible California laws are at the top of a long list of reasons why parents need to remove their children from government-controlled schools. "Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose. Existing law prohibits a teacher from giving instruction, and a school district from sponsoring any activity, that reflects adversely upon persons because of their race, sex, color, creed, handicap, national origin, or ancestry. disability, gender, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crimes set forth in Section 422.55 of the Penal Code, equal rights and opportunities in the educational institutions of the state. "Gender" means sex, and includes a person's gender identity and gender related appearance and behavior whether or not stereotypically associated with the person's assigned sex at birth. "Sex" means the biological condition or quality of being a male or female human being. "Religion" includes all aspects of religious belief, observance, and practice and includes agnosticism and atheism. "Sexual orientation" means heterosexuality, homosexuality, or bisexuality. ..and students, whether male or female, must be allowed to use the restroom and locker room corresponding to the sex with which they choose to identify. Existing law prohibits a teacher from giving instruction, and a school district from sponsoring any activity, that reflects adversely upon persons because of their race, sex, color, creed, handicap, national origin, or ancestry. Existing law prohibits the State Board of Education and the governing board of a school district from adopting for use in the public schools any instructional materials that reflect adversely upon persons because of their race, sex, color, creed, handicap, national origin, or ancestry. This bill would revise the list of prohibited bases of discrimination and the kinds of prohibited instruction, activities, and instructional materials and instead, would refer to disability, gender, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic contained in the definition of hate crimes that is contained in the Penal Code. The bill would define disability, gender, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation for this purpose. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. - James 1:9

Do you find yourself in humble circumstances? If so, James tells us that we are to take pride in this "high" position. These two things would seem to be an oxymoron. Most of us would not consider humble circumstances a high position. Successful business tells us that being on top means being wealthy, attaining favor and status, or having power to influence. However, Jesus influenced not from power, but from weakness.

J.C. Penney is a name synonymous with department store. He first launched his chain of "The Golden Rule" stores in 1907. In 1910 his first wife died. Three years later, he incorporated as the J.C. Penney company. In 1923 his second wife died giving birth to his son. In 1929 the stock market crashed and he lost $40 million.

By 1932, he had to sell out to satisfy...creditors. This left [Penney] virtually broke. ...Crushed in spirit from his loss and his health suddenly failing, Penney wound up in a Battle Creek, Michigan sanitarium. One morning he heard the distant singing of employees who gathered to start the day with God: Be not dismayed, whate'er betide, God will take care of you.... Penney followed the music to its source and slipped into a back row. He left a short time later a changed man, his health and spirit renewed, and ready to start the long climb back at age fifty-six.
By 1951 there was a J.C. Penney store in every state, and for the first time sales surpassed $1 billion a year. [John Woodbridge, ed., More Than Conquerors (Chicago, Illinois: Moody Press, 1992), 340-343.]

The success of J.C. Penney can be traced to God's mercy in his life to bring him out of his humble circumstance. Do you find yourself in a humble circumstance? God is the only one who can help you see your humble circumstance from His viewpoint--a high position. It is a high position because of what God is going to teach you in this place. He does not intend you to stay there; it is merely a stopping place to learn some important things you would not learn otherwise. Press into God and trust Him for the outcome to your circumstances.

THE MANTLE ROOM OF HEAVEN
I was recently caught up into a Heavenly visitation during one of our "Awakening Gatherings." That morning, as I stood to the pulpit to preach, I was instantly brought into an "open-eyed vision" where I was taken to a room in Heaven. Peering through the door, I could see many robe-like garments hanging along the wall. As I entered into the room, I could see that these garments were different sizes and patterned with many different colors. I intuitively knew that this was the "Mantle Room of Heaven." The Lord spoke to my heart, telling me that these garments were mantles He created and prepared for His people to wear on the earth. They would empower His children to fulfill their Heavenly callings and mandates.

In my vision of the Mantle Room, I saw that not one of these mantles were the same. Each was a unique size and color. I understood that God did not want carbon copies, but originals. He has a unique mantle made just for you. God does not want you to pattern yourself after another person or ministry. He wants you to be uniquely you. There is an aspect of His nature and power that He wants to display through your life. Each mantle, when worn by an individual on the earth, expresses a unique facet of God's nature and glory in Heaven.

Get ready! Some of these mantles are right now hovering over the Church and are about to be released in the earth. God is looking for those He can place them on. Some mantles will resemble things we have seen and are familiar with, while others will empower people to do things that have never been done before this time in history! God is looking for those He can anoint with fresh oil.

NEW MANTLES ARE ABOUT TO BE RELEASED
In a recent dream, the Lord showed me one of the mantles about to be released over the corporate Body of Christ. In my dream, I was in a house full of people. I heard a knock at the door and went to open it. When I opened the door, a very elderly woman was standing there. She could barely stand and looked like she was just about to pass over into eternity. I instantly recognized her. She was a very old "Kathryn Kuhlman." I reached down and put my arms under her, picked her up and carried her into the house. As I stepped over the threshold into the house, I awoke from my sleep. --End of dream.

For weeks I prayed over this dream, asking God for understanding. As I waited on the Lord, He began to unfold its meaning to me.
The Lord used the picture of Kathryn Kuhlman (along with her age) to symbolically speak to me. Once again, there is about to be released over the Church, a mantle that is similar to the one this great woman of God wore. Not only will it release mass miracles, but it is deeply connected to our level of intimacy with the Person of the Holy Spirit. It is a mantle of extraordinary power as well as deep intimacy with God. This mantle releases creative miracles as the atmosphere of Heaven is released in and over our lives. This type of mantle will not just cover one or two. God is wanting to release it over the Corporate Body. But it does require something....

It requires a life of complete surrender, obedience and death to self. It requires a lifestyle of deep communion with God. This mantle is being made available to all who want it and are willing to pay the price that goes along with it. Never forget that mantles always have a price. Salvation is free, but the weight of His glory will cost you something. With power comes responsibility. The heavier the mantle God gives you, the more dead to self you must be.

We can see the weight of responsibility that goes along with receiving a mantle in Numbers 11:17. The Lord said to Moses, "I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take of the Spirit that is on you and put the Spirit on them. They will help you carry the burden of the people so that you will not have to carry it alone." Not only was the "authority" of Moses transferred to 70 people, the "responsibility" of bearing the burden of the people came with it.

BEING IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME
In my dream, it was significant that I had to pick Kathryn Kuhlman up. When God releases a mantle, we must pick it up! There is an action required on our part. When the mantle fell from Elijah, Elisha had to bend down and pick up that mantle. When he did, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. Elisha had to be in the right place at the right time to receive that mantle. It required persistence, determination and faithfulness on his part so he would be correctly positioned to receive the mantle when the time came for it to be released.

The same is true for us. It does matter where you are and who you are hanging out with! Some visitations from the Lord require you being in a specific place at a specific time. It is crucial that we are where God wants us to be, so that He can visit us in such a way to release the new mantles He has for us.

I know each time I have received a mantle from the Lord, it has been in a specific place and time. Each time I was exactly where the Spirit wanted me to be. For example, the Lord led me to be in Moriah Chapel in Wales during the 100-year anniversary of the Welsh Revival. It was during this special time of prayer and seeking the Lord that I had a deep encounter with the "Revival Mantle." I could physically feel a blanket-like garment being draped over my legs and around my waist. God gave me a very deep revelation on the true meaning of revival, but that is for another article.

Another time I was in Europe, ministering with an evangelist friend in Estonia, who was doing some large evangelistic crusades when the "Mass Crusade Mantle" came upon me. I was standing on the platform when it happened. The anointing for miracles and mass salvation came into the meeting. As I was standing on the right side of the platform, it felt like someone placed a blanket over my head, shoulders and arms. There was a new mantle for mass crusades being placed on my life. This mantle was released in the midst of the glorious atmosphere of a mass crusade meeting. I was in the right place at the right time. Just three months later, I held my first mass crusade in India. Multitudes were saved, healed of sickness and delivered from demonic oppression!

WHAT TYPES OF MANTLES CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE?
I want to briefly share with you four mantles that we can expect to see released in this next season. This is by no means an exclusive list. There are many other mantles to pick up and receive besides the four I am about to share. I simply want to highlight some of the mantles the Lord has highlighted to me.

The first is connected to the dream I had concerning Kathryn Kuhlman. This mantle is a "Mantle of Glory and Creative Miracles." It will bring a keen sensitivity to the Person of the Holy Spirit and will release amazing signs and wonders, not just inside church buildings, but everywhere His people carry His glory. The Lord recently spoke to me that He was raising the standard in the healing movement once again. Matthew 12:15 says, "He healed them ALL."

This outpouring will release an even greater wave of signs and wonders, not just in the church services, but in the marketplace. God is looking for vessels He can endue with power out in the marketplace. We will see "backyard miracles" in mass--miracles in the homes, in the workplace, out on the streets, in the hospitals and in the malls. We will see creative miracles everywhere God's people go, releasing the power of the Kingdom into this present age.

The second is a "Mantle of Mass Deliverance." Not only will we see mass miracles, but there is also a wave of mass deliverance coming. People that have struggled in areas of their lives for years will receive breakthrough as the fire of deliverance is released into their lives. I encourage you to pray this prayer, "Lord, uncover and expose every area of darkness in my heart." As you do, God will release by His Spirit, a deep deliverance in your life.

Just as the Lord delivered Israel out of the hands of the Egyptians in mass, so God will deliver His people in mass. And we are not coming out empty-handed. This is where we will see the supernatural divine transfer of wealth which the prophets have been proclaiming. Mass deliverance is connected to the release of this divine transfer (see Exodus 3:20-22).
The third is a "Mantle of Supernatural Favor." God is placing mantles of favor upon His children in this hour. It's the type of favor that God placed on Isaac as he was taking possession of the land of his inheritance in Genesis 26. As he contended for what God said was his, the Lord eventually even caused his enemies to want to be at peace with him. Isaac eventually came into a place of total fulfillment and rest as he dug a well and called the name of the place Beersheba, meaning "Well of the Seven." Seven speaks of "fulfillment, completion and rest." Favor makes a way where there seems to be no way and causes you to receive all God has for you.

The fourth is a "Media Mantle." We will see a "Media Revival" with a move of God spreading through the airwaves. The Lord spoke to me that He is raising up TV networks that will help facilitate this end time move of God. GodTV is one of those networks. But there are more. Jesus will even be glorified over the secular networks! God is placing Media Mantles on people who will glorify His name through various media outlets.

As we move into this next season, I encourage you to stay sensitive to the voice of the Spirit as He leads you into times of prayer and waiting on Him. This will prepare you to be fully ready for all that He wants to release in and through your life. Get ready to pick up your mantle!

The Earth is Trembling

"THE EARTH ITSELF IS NOW TREMBLING TO BE REDEEMED...LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING!"

Psalms 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's and the 'fullness' thereof; the world and they that dwell therein." "Earth" in this Scripture literally means "earth, land and ground," (whatever is under your feet!).

I sense the Spirit saying, "The earth is now ripe for picking! It's coming into it's 'fullness' for harvest." I sense lands and whole regions of the earth are beginning to pull on the Word of God to be redeemed into God's Kingdom.

THE CREATED WORLD ITSELF IS STANDING ON ITS TIPTOES WAITING TO SEE WHAT'S COMING NEXT

I sense creation itself is now beginning to play a significant role in fulfilling God's purposes in the earth. Joshua prophesied to the sun to stand still to help him win the battle! Ezekiel preached to the four winds to bring God's breath to dead bones! Jeremiah prophesied to the earth..."earth, earth hear the word of the Lord!"

I wonder if Abraham (whose seed would be as many as the stars above his head) didn't preach at times to those galaxies in the universe or, perhaps, the stars preached to him! In Psalms, it tells us that God calls the stars all by their names as if there is some kind of communication going on between He and them.

God spoke and the worlds were framed by the word of His power and came into existence! I believe God wants to speak, preach and prophesy not only to the people on the earth through us, but also to His creation itself--this hour--as He is longing to restore all things unto Himself!
ALL OF CREATION IS NOW GROANING TO BE REDEEMED AND TO COME INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

Romans 8:19, "For the earnest expectation of creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God." Romans 8:22-23 "For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body."

There was a time when Charles Finney, after feeling like he just preached his worst sermon ever, considered quitting the ministry. He shared how his words seemed so dead that his words fell straight to the ground and never got to the ears of the people in his meeting. Years later, he discovered that his "worst" sermon had sent forty eight men and women to the mission fields. Could it be that his words were actually falling on the thirsty ground of those nations first--to cultivate the soil so a Macedonian call could be sent to these men and women later?

Recently, I have been asked to minister in regions as people come together to pray, to ask for God's guidance and how to redeem their region back to God. As I ministered at these regions, I noticed a strong resistance from the powers over that city or region. When I ministered on unity to the people, it seemed that the message was not received. Faces seemed to be blank and my words seemed to fall right off of my lips, straight to the ground. At the time, I felt no liberty as I spoke that message, although I knew it was what God wanted me to share.

After the meeting had ended, an Amish brother who was in that meeting came to me with tears in his eyes and asked me to come to his house to minister that same message to his people. He said, "You must come speak this message to my people who are now hungry for God! The message God gave you is a key to unlock this region and bring unity to us all!" Others also confirmed that the message was like a plow digging deep into the soil of that region to bring forth a move of the Spirit of God.

The Lord seemed to show me that the ground in that region was also so hungry, that it was groaning and almost taking the word of God into itself, before it could hardly reach the people's ears! That word was not just falling to the ground, but falling on good ground. Thirsty ground that was eager to come into the Kingdom of Heaven! Ground so hungry to become fertile to yield her increase of the corn of Heaven. Yes, a ground that would begin to flow with milk and honey to produce record-breaking crops and even livestock.

At times when no one seems to be receiving your message and it seems to be falling to the ground, you may be actually cultivating the soil beneath your feet that will yield a whole city, a whole state, or a whole nation!

I sensed later that I had been mainly sent to that region to preach and prophesy to the earth beneath the people's feet, perhaps more than to the people themselves! We must now be careful when we minister. God is out to redeem "the land" as well as "the people" on it!

DELMARVA REGION WILL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD!

On October 13th in a meeting in Berlin, Maryland near Ocean City, I shared a word the Lord gave me for the Delmarva region which includes Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia:
I sense the Lord saying, "You will hear from creation on the glory of God coming to the Delmarva region. The earth in this region is now trembling to be redeemed!"

"Watch for the earth to declare God's Glory! The earth itself is now receiving the word of the Lord to 'yield her increase.' Watch for record-breaking crops and livestock to increase in unusual ways. Unusual catches of fish and their size will make the news in this region! Some catches will break fishing poles and fishing nets again! Some fish will seem to be catching men! Some big catches will seemingly be pulling men into the water!"

"The beasts of the earth shall teach you. God will use the fowls of the air and the beasts of the field to declare His Glory! You will witness creatures and all of creation beginning to praise the Lord and they shall be as signs unto you that the Glory of God is coming upon the earth! Some people will claim to actually hear animals praising the Lord and God speaking through them. This will be a sign that all of creation is now groaning to witness the redemption of our bodies and the sons of God to come forth in power to redeem the land!"

Last week, local news from Maryland reported: "Record Fish Reeled In From The Bay." A local Maryland news source reported that, "State Department of Natural Resources officials say a Delaware man caught a record 'Spanish' mackerel, the largest ever caught in the Maryland waters of the Chesapeake Bay...he landed the Spanish mackerel that weighed in at 12.4 pounds and measured 37 inches long. The previous Maryland record of 11.47 pounds was set two weeks earlier in the same Middle Grounds area in the lower bay. That broke a 10 pound record from 2002." (News source: WBAL Radio as reported by Anne Kramer and The Associated Press)
I sense as our earth is groaning in labor with earthquakes, floods, fires and hurricanes, creation will now begin declaring the Glory of God through its pain. "We glory in tribulation."

I sensed also when I read this report that the word "Spanish" jumped out at me. I sense the Lord is also confirming that there will be a "record-breaking" great outpouring of God's glory upon Spanish people in this region that will continue all the way to the West coast.

"The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof; the earth and they that dwell therein." Psalm 23:1

God says, "I'm Raising Up a New Generation of Revivalists Such as the World Has Not Seen"

A New Generation of Revivalists

For the Lord would say, "I'm raising up a new generation of revivalists such as the world has not seen. I'm redigging the wells of Leonard Ravenhill," says the Lord. "I'm redigging wells today," says the Father God. And the Lord says that there is a shifting and a turning even in this season. "Even," says the Lord, "a time of new beginnings; but new beginnings for harvest," says the Lord.

Some have prayed, and many have not seen revival. They've not seen. They've only seen the promise of what they hope God would do in their cities. They've only seen a glimpse of what could happen if a city was saved, but the Lord says, "I am coming in response to the prayers of generations." Says God, "I'm coming and heeding their cries. Will not My city be saved? Will not Africa be saved? Will not Europe be saved? Will not South America be saved? North America?"

And God says, "I am coming. I am pouring out. For I am visiting young revivalists who are going to be the evangelists of tomorrow. For the gift of evangelism, the office of evangelist, is being opened. The wells of evangelism are being opened all across the face of the Earth; those wells of revival."

"Those wells of Pentecost are opening in Norway that affected England," says God. "New wells. New wells for a new day. But this well carries with it not only revival, but reformation, societal transformation." God says, "and this move of the Holy Spirit is not just going to touch souls; it's going to touch nations," says God. "For I have heard your cries for the nations to be saved. I have heard your cries. Don't think that I am deaf," says God. "Don't think that I cannot hear when you cry unto Me."

For the Lord says, "I am getting ready to pour out water--My Spirit upon the dry and thirsty places, and the dry bones will live," says God, "and the dry bones will stand up." And God says, "I'm pouring out My Spirit for household salvation," says the Lord. "Those who've been the hardest, the hardest. Their hearts have been hard against Me. I am coming with My Mighty Spirit that no person will be able to stand when this flood-tide comes," says God.

"It's going be greater than tsunamis'; for there is a spiritual tsunami coming to Asia," says God. "There's a spiritual tsunami being poured out across the face of the earth." And so the Lord says, "This is a time of rejoicing. This is a time of crying unto Me. This is a time where My purging, cleansing flood is coming. There is a fountain, filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel's veins that comes to cleanse the hardest sinners souls," says God.

And so the Lord says, "Do not let your soul be discouraged. Don't be downcast. Say to your soul, 'Have hope in God, for God is a prayer-hearing God,'" says the Lord.

Align Your Heart With ME and Wait For My Presence

This week at Tuesday morning prayer the Lord began to establish His presence in a new way among us. In this time of new beginnings, we must not presume that we know where the Ark of His Presence is moving. We must wait and watch with expectancy to see how He would have us advance into our next war.

On Tuesday morning, God began by having us stand very quietly so we could hear our heart beat. I would encourage you to listen carefully for your heart beat. Ask for a realignment of your heart desires with His heart desires. Then ask the Lord for you to hear the stillness of the heavens. In the midst of your chaos, ask Him to let you hear the stillness of His shadow. Ask Him to let you hear sounds you have not heard. Tell Him you are listening, and let Him circulate the atmosphere of Heaven around you. Ask Him to bring and activate your atmospheric change. Let the cares of the day slip away so you hear the will of Heaven. Don't go out in your own strength. Wait for the pulsating heart of God to propel the blood in your heart forth. Some of you are contending over how others are moving forward. Some of you are being awakened with anxiety and you are questioning how you will ever get everything done so you can advance into your best, in days ahead.

Then I heard the Lord say, My heart is not anxious. Wait for My heart to align yours. Stay in time with My heart beat. Sit before Me and listen now and you will be energized to bring everything into order that seems confusing, bringing disarray in your life. The beating of My heart positions My ark. You can't go forth this hour without My presence, so you must wait for the positioning of My presence. Give Me space. If you walk too quickly, you will stumble. Let the ark go before you. In My presence you will be surefooted. In My presence you will see your way. In My presence you will see your enemy. So look up, for the heavens are clear. Even though there is fog and debris in your path, the heavens are clear before you. In My presence you're aware of all of your surroundings. You know when to turn right and to turn left. Your scheduling of time is allowing the enemy to come in and find a way to change time and set legalistic structures. You are not choosing the best. The best is what My heart has for you. Allow My heart to beat within you so that best can be yours. I am a God that can move just as easily behind you as in front of you. Align yourself with Me and I will open up the way and will guard your mistakes so they do not catch up with you again.

The dawning of the 21st century finds the church of America in a moral and spiritual crisis. Decades of self-centered living and worldliness have taken their toll. Years of compromise and toothless gospel preaching have had their effect. And now we have reached the moment of truth: Either we wake up, stand up, speak up, and act up, or we run the risk of becoming a mere historic curiosity, an irrelevant religious sideshow, an entertaining, harmless spectacle. Something must change, and it must change now. There is no other choice.

Forty years ago, a counterculture revolution swept through America, resulting in a sudden, steep moral decline. Since that time (from the early ’60s until today), the divorce rate has doubled, the teen suicide rate has tripled, reported violent crime has quadrupled, the prison population has quintupled, the percentage of babies born out of wedlock has risen six-fold, and couples living together out of wedlock has risen sevenfold. And the end is not in sight.

The last generation’s counterculture of rebellion has become this generation’s establishment of revulsion, and what was unthinkable forty years ago – daytime talk shows celebrating adultery and incest; homosexual love scenes on major network TV; eleven-year-old multiple murderers; massacres in our schools and houses of worship – is a matter of course today. We need a revolution!

But this revolution will be different than other revolutions – including the revolution that birthed our nation more than 200 years ago. This revolution will not be fought with earthly weapons of destruction – not with guns and knives and bullets and bombs. It will not be fought with hatred, anger, intimidation, or brute force. No. It will be fought with the message of the gospel, with the love of God, with the power of the Spirit, with radical holiness, with sacrifice, compassion, and courage. It will be a Jesus revolution, an intense clash between two spiritual kingdoms, a heavenly attack on the enemy’s strongholds, a no-compromise stand for morality and truth. I don't know about you, but I holding on tight to Jesus, its been a bumpy ride. I believe this is what many of us are struggling to do - Yes, I said struggling - trying not to look at these crazy circumstances. I know we can do this because God said we can. When we walk in the Spirit we do not fullfil the lust of the flesh - and live in the soulish realm of our emotions and feelings. They have a place at times that are good, but when we allow the negativity of our flesh and circumstances to continue to control and pull us down emotionally, spiritually, and mentally rendering us inactive in the faith - we have no joy or strength in Christ Jesus who desires to restore us in His strength and His joy with power to overcome and live in continuous victory. Let God have His way - for He LOVES us so dearly. He is teaching us some very important things for our life in the future. Trust in Him for all things. We are at a time - either we believe Him or we do not. BELIEVE SAINTS! Do not listen to the lies of defeat - get up and take action - pick up your bed and walk/run with Him.

Here is a prayer:

Dear Jesus, please take my hand, my heart and my mind & emotions - I give them all to you - for you are the healer and the source of my life and strength. Please heal me from all unrighteousness and heal me from my eyes focussing on the negative situations that are sorrounding my life. I cry out to you - you are the only one who can lift me up, there is no other - for you are the Holy One, GOD. I give it all to you and desire to focus on what you have blessed me with - it is YOU, my friend, the lover of my soul. Others do not know YOU, but I know YOU, and YOU, my GOD love me. You said "I can do all things (conquer every situation) through Jesus Christ who strengthens me. I receive you divine wisdom, strength, joy, peace and the fullness of life you have for me. Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear your voice. I will not follow another or lean to my own understanding - I will keep my mind stayed on you and you will keep me in perfect peace. I to be a child of Obedience and believe Your word - for it is true and the bread of Life. I love you Jesus - you are my life and my life is yours.

I was doing my bible study when I heard it….the most beautiful screech. They were back! Somewhere close to my house is a group of large birds. They sometimes perch 40 feet from my front door up on a light post. After research it is either a Golden Eagle or a Red-Tailed Hawk….I now have my binoculars at the front door waiting for a closer look.

But today I stood outside and watched as they soared above. I began to pray and watch. Beautiful wasn’t grand enough to describe them. Eventually I sat down and began to write what I saw…….

They soar above with such freedom and grace.
They dive with determination
They gloriously pull in their wings slightly, lift their heads and bare their hearts (placing them in an unguarded position) as they soar towards heaven.
They may momentarily fly solo but not for long periods as they call (screech) out to one another and return to gather either in the air or in the trees.
They come and perch on earth but always perched up from the ground as to always keep a higher perspective.

Then I realized we are really EAGLES when in Christ. With Christ we are truly free (Gal 5:1) and with grace (John 1:17). And if we walk in the authority given us we will dive with determination (Luke 10:18-20). We ascend to heaven when our eyes are fixed upon the Lord (2 Kings 22:2) and our hearts unguarded in praise knowing we are guarded by Christ (Philippians 4:6-7). Do we look as beautiful to God in this position (fully submitted and praising His name) as the Eagle did flying today? I think so. But do not forget we only fly solo for a short period as it is vital to return to the flock and gather together (fellowship)

Last but not least, I never saw them sit on the ground. I began to think about what it must look like to always see earth from a perched point of view. It’s always a higher perspective. Since we are already seated with Jesus in heavenly realms (Eph 2:6) we should be looking down from heaven with the eyes of Christ with whom we are seated with.

There are so many opportunities to consider in this life, so many directions to choose from; we are a blessed people indeed to have so much available to and for us in the pursuits of our dreams and goals. It is also very easy to become overwhelmed by it all, confused about which way to go, which direction to take, where to best spend our time and resources, when to make the best financial move, where to invest our life and energies.

As I contemplated these things and many more concerning the way I should go at this time in my life, I heard that sweet, familiar, still voice of the Lord say to me “bide your time” right now. Oh no, I thought at first, that means to just somehow hang in there by my thumbnails with the status quo when I think the changes are needed ASAP! I’m not agreeable with that I say but I know my Lord loves me & always knows what’s best for me, He’s proved Himself o’r & o’r as some old song says. So I think, maybe I don’t understand that old archaic word “bide”, I owe it to the Lord to at least look it up. Sure enough, He has my best interest in mind, all planned out as He said it was!

Bide Your Time

To wait patiently for a good opportunity to do something

To wait for further developments

To wait; tarry

To stay; remain

To remain in a condition or state

To continue in a place, position or situation.

I have learned many lessons the hard way and the easy way in my life and I know for sure that when the Lord presents a good opportunity, when He opens a door and makes a way for you to go through it, there is no alternative that is easier or more perfect for you than that. We all have the ability to understand that truth. So as for me right now, I am biding my time with Jesus and I am confident He will give me the strength to do so!

A NEW SEASON....A NEW SOUND!

During our morning worship service while praising the Lord and proclaiming freedom over the people and the land, I saw a vision of the Liberty Bell.

The historic landmark did not have the evidence of any cracks and was complete in its true form. The impression that I got was that a new sound unlike anything heard before was about to come forth and the bell was beginning to toll.

Then next I saw the bells in all the church steeples across the land of America,tolling and ringing collectively, chiming in the new sound of the Lord. During this section of our praise and worship I was reminded of the scripture in Exodus 39 where it speaks of the priestly garments.

Around the hem of the priestly robes were of fine twisted linen with pomegranates with blue, purple and scarlet yarn. And they made bells of pure gold and attached them around the hem of the robe to be worn for ministering as the Lord commanded. Can you hear the new sound coming forth?

The sound of freedom, The sound of Liberty in the land. While researching the history of the Liberty Bell, I had learned that the biblical inscription embossed on the bell has the following scripture;

Leviticus 25:9 - 12
Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day on the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. v.10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land and all its inhabitants. v.11 It shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow or reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine.
v.12 For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat the produce from the field.

How beautiful are the ways of the Lord, to minister to his people. We were all greatly blessed and encouraged with what the Lord is doing in our midst.
